The high velocity wind that hit the region caused large scale damaged as temporary roof of over dozen of house were blown up in the high speed, several trees were uprooted and two meek animal died of thunderbolt besides power supply remain disrupted in the region causing serious trouble for members of village community residing in village panchayat Rategaon, Pathri and Phogtola.
Nature’s fury in the three villages has left normal life out of gear as many villagers are rendered homeless for want of roof structure.
According to information it was large scale panic among villagers residing in village panchayat Rategaon, Pathri and Phogtola after high velocity wind hit the region.
The damaged caused to villager remains to be ascertained as officers from revenue department and local administration have reached the affected villages to take stock of damage done to house hold property.
In view of large scale damaged done villagers have demanded adequate compensation against the loss suffered due to high speed wind.
About the havoc caused in village panchayat Rategaon, Pathri and Phogtola it is informed in sudden change of weather made the villagers taken by surprise after high speed wind hit the region causing large scale destruction of property in three villages.
It is informed that as most of the houses in the village are of temporary nature roof made up of tiles and other goods were summarily blown up in the wind.
Besides, two meek animal victim of thunderbolt were found lying dead in at village Rategaon and Pathri. In the post disaster occurred village sarpanch and other elected representatives along with police and officers from revenue department made visit of the affected villages.
As Sarpanch Rategaon Balkrishna Bisen informed that more than dozen homes in the villages have been adversely affected in the high speed wind. Phogtola village affected villagers namely Govind Pardhi, Santosh tembhrey, Lokchandra Sonwaney, Chandulal Hiranjhedey, Ram SIngh Kishore Marksoley and others suffered heavy loss of property.
The village sarpanch who carried out survey of the damaged homes has demanded adequate compensation for the members of village community. In case there is delay in providing compensation agitation would staged.
Also Ramsingh informed that due thunder bolt two animal that include one expecting cow and one ox died due to thunderbolt. The compensation against the premature death of animals has been demanded by villagers.
The loss of property and house hold goods in three villages remains to be ascertained. A survey team has been asked to carry out the damaged suffered by the villagers.
