Overall the state is reeling under the heat wave spell and occasional rains in some places.
The highest temperature was recorded at 47 degree Celsius at the Tourist Destinationin Khajuraho and a nearby place Naugaon and showers were witnessed at Pachmarhi, Jabalpur and Chhindwara. Scattered cloud forming in many places are also recorded. It may rain here and there. But traditionally the rainfall during Nautapa is considered as bad omen for rains as it may go defiant.
Meanwhile, the reports have come that South Western monsoon has reached Andaman Sea and likely to reach Kerala within four days. There is every possibility that monsoon will come to Madhya Pradesh between June 10-13.
