The contract employees working on projects of Madhya Pradesh Health Department presented a memorandum under the guidance of President of Mineral Development Corporation, Rameshwar Sharma and in the leadership of Madhya Pradesh Samvida Karmchaari Adhikaari Mahasangh’s State President Ramesh Rathore and Samvida Swasth Karmchaari Sangh’s State President, Rahul Jain against the exploitation done to the contract employees of the health department to Health Minister, Narottam Mishra.
Ramesh Rathore handed over the memo to the Health Minister and conveyed that the contract employees in the Health department are being exploited and they have been working in the department for last fourteen years but not once also their salary have been raised. They have been paid only four to five thousand monthly and they are not provided by any type of allowance nor is their EPF being cut. He further stated that in the other departments the employees are being paid by 6th pay scale whereas the contract employees in the Health Dept of Rajasthan, Bihar and Tamil Nadu are being regularized.
He demanded that like this way the Madhya Pradesh contract employees should also be made regular and they must be provided by the various policies. The Health Minister has assured the workers in order to neutralize the demands.
