Gwalior: Rape of 2 year old girl

On Thursday morning, a young man of Khaniyathana town of Shivpuri took a two-year-old girl who was playing in the courtyard of the house behind the official rest house built nearby.

He misbehaved with the girl and started strangling, trying to murder her. When the women heard the baby’s cry, they reached there. Later, people gave beating to the culprit and then handed over to the police.

Angry people also set fire to the accused’s house. Seeing the situation of tension in the town, police force was deployed. Bhoora Singh of Khaniyathana town of Shivpuri took the two-year-old innocent girl, on Thursday morning to the government rest house and raped her.

After this, Bhoora Singh tried to take her life by strangling her. Meanwhile the child started crying loudly, the women of the house reached there as they heard her crying. Women who reached behind the rest house saw that Bhoora was strangling the girl.

After seeing the women, he ran and jumped in the nearby pond. The crowd gathered there and took him out of the pond.

After taking out of the pond, the angry mob gave beating to Bhoora and handed him over to the police. The girl’s mother took her girl child to the hospital.

Angry people set fire to accused’s house

After this incident, there was situation of tension in the town. The town’s market was closed. Bhoora Singh was a sweeper. Angry people reached the village of Bhoora Singh and set fire to his house.

The angry mob also burnt 30 houses, burnt 4 bikes and one liquor shop. When the police tried to control the crowd, they threw stones at the police. After about 2 hours, the police managed to gain control over the situation.

The girl was referred from Khaniyathana to the district hospital of Shivpuri. The doctor confirmed that the child has been raped. The doctors also told that the girl is out of danger.
