Guard assaulted by cop: MPHRC seeks report

Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) has taken cognizance of an incident in which a policeman assaulted the guard of a private security agency in Kotra Sultanabad area. The MPHRC has sought reply from the DIG Bhopal.

The guard was thrashed only because he did not salute the cop. Victim Vishram Singh, resident of Ashok Nagar, is a guard in a private security agency. Currently he is deployed at an ATM booth of State Bank of India (SBI) in Kotra Sultanabad.

On Thursday night he was sleeping inside the ATM booth. Policeman Udaisingh Parihar, posted in FRB of Kamlanagar police station, was sitting in Dial 100 vehicle. He brutally thrashed the guard only because he did not salute him. The guard suffered serious eye injury.
