GPF status on CAG website

Bhopal: GPF sbscribers of PWD, WRD, PHE, GAD departments now can view the current status of their GPF account along with the Annual Account slip for the previous year on the website of Accountant General Madhya Pradesh www.agmp.nic.in. The office of the Accountant General (A&E)-I MP, Bhopal, has started this new service from this year.
After closing of the monthly GPF account, up-to-date status of all the transactions took place in the current year in the account of the subscriber viz Subscription, Refund, other credits, temporary Adance, part final withdrawal etc. will be displayed on website. GPF subscribers who has been allotted account number under series IRR, CW, PHE, SGS, SES, SSCS and DA will be able to view the current status of their GPF account.
Proceedure to view the current status is the same as prescribed for viewing Annual Account Slip on web. Accordingly, subsribers have to type url www.agmp.cag.in/gpf_data/login aspx int eh web browser. After successful login by entering series, account number and pass word. Account Slip for the previous year i.e. year 2010-11 will be displayed first. At the end of the statement below the closing balance for the previous year, there will be a link stating ‘to see current year’s subscription click here’. On clicking this link current status of the GPF account will be displayed in a new window. This facility will enable the subscribers to know about the transactions took place his GPF accounts instantly and get the discrepancy, if any, removed before the close of the current year’s GPF account.
