The fusion of art, culture, folk dance, Gujarati garba dance, traditional and devotional songs was seen at Juna fest. About 300 people participated in the fest organized by Juna at Arera Colony. DGP Purushottam Sharma, Gujarati Samaj president Sanjay Patel and others were present on the occasion. The garba dance was presented by Phalguni Pathak and others.
Devotees throng Pahadi Mandir to perform garba
Devotees thronged New Dussehra Maidan at Pahadi Mandir in Kolar to perform garba on the second day of Rasa Rang Garba festival. For the first time in Kolar with hundreds of participants, the people of Kolar are also reaching the temple premises to participate in garba.
On the occasion of inauguration of garba on the second day Shri DP Dwivedi, District Panchayat Member Shri Makhan Singh Rajput, former corporator Shri Gayatri Prasad Sharma, Shri Sanjay Srivastava, and Shri Suresh Rajput were present.
According to patron Shyam Singh Meena, on October 19, there will be a huge Dvi Jagran and well-known Bhajan Singer Shri Paras Jain will present devotional songs.
Speaking about the event, president Deepak Prajapati said that after the conclusion of the Garba festival, all the functionaries of the Ma Pahad Wali Seva Samiti will start making preparations for Kanya Pujan, Kanyaboj and Vishal Bhandara, which will be held on October 18, and Vijayadashmi on October 19.
