Former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Babulal Gaur has claimed to contest from Govindpura constituency for the 11th time.
Babulal Gaur has said that I have received blessings from PM Modi, I will definitely contest. Prior to this, Gaur has won ten Assembly elections in a row. After the removal of the minister two years ago, speculations were made that he would no longer contest elections, but Gaur has repeatedly expressed his claims. At the same time during the visit of PM Modi, he got signs of contesting elections.When PM made a remark to Gaur,”Ek Bar Aur” (one more time).
During the tenure of Babulal Gaur, the proposal to shift Bhanpur Khanti was made and it was implemented. Gaur is constantly touring the entire assembly constituency. He is in constant contact with the people of his constituency.It is worth mentioning that Babulal Gaur won the election for Govindpura seat for record 10 times. Govindpura assembly constituency has 50 percent voters from the backward caste who is the BJP’s traditional vote bank.Gaur also hails from this class and has been a Labour Leader before joining Politics.
