Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Rich tributes were paid to the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee on his death anniversary by the leaders in the State capital on Saturday.
BJP leaders remembered Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee and paid floral tributes in programmes organised across the State. Tribute programmes were also organised at booth and district-levels.
Bharatiya Janata Party State President and MP Rakesh Singh said that Dr Mukherjee sacrificed his life for the unity and integrity of the country in independent India.
Rakesh Singh said that everyone in the party is committed for maintaining unity and integrity in the country. He said Shyama Prasad Mookerjee laid a solid foundation to India’s industrialisation in his capacity as the country’s first Industry Minister.
BJP State General Secretary Vishnudutt Sharma, MP Alok Sanjar, district president and MLA Surendranath Singh and others paid tribute in front of the statue of Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee.
State Spokesperson Rahul Kothari, Surendra Sharma, Vikas Virani, Ashok Saini, Sudhir Jachak, Rajendra Gupta, Nitin Dubey, Rahul Rajput, Gopal Tomar, Pramod Sharma, Rajkumar Vishwakarma, Vijay Singh Rajput, Hanskunwar Rajput, Sarita Deshpandey, district executives and activists also paid tribute to Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee.
