Fertiliser problem

The Chief Minsiter of Madhya Pradesh Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan is angry and worried over the issue of fertiliders during the Kharif season. Even during last year he ran from port to piller from Bhopal to Delhi to rescue and procure fertiliser a time but he would get it as per requirement. Even the goods train racks were not available to carry the fertilisers  from sea ports to the state. This year he sored the fertilisers in good quantity and directed the farmers to lift the stocks in advance.

But now the central government have reduced the subsidy on fertiliser and permitted the manufacturing company to the price on the basis of their cost of production and margin of profit. This has resolted in that a bag of fertiliser being sold at the rate Rs 555 is not on sale at the enhanced price of rupees1272 per bag. It is an increase of 300 per cent are can understand plight of farmers are escalation of cost of agriculture under such conditions. The Chief Minister is taking up the issue direct to farmers at a massive conclave on July 15 at Bhopal. The Chief Minister will observe a day’s fest and conclave writ demand withdrawal of enhance prices and compensation. The Chief Minister is determined to takes aup the issue from provement to Parliament.
