Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea was one of a number of fringe Spain players named in Vicente del Bosque’s provisional 21-man squad for Euro 2012 on Tuesday.

De Gea, who has yet to win a full cap, is likely to miss out on the main event and go to the London Olympics instead with Del Bosque still to name almost a dozen players from Chelsea, Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao who have matches left to play this season.
Chelsea’s Juan Mata and Fernando Torres will find out whether they are selected after the Champions League final on May 19, Barca and Bilbao players after the King’s Cup final on May 25, which is sure to include goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
The world and defending European champions will name their final 23-man list on May 27.
Isco and Ignacio Monreal of Malaga, Benat of Real Betis, Javi Garcia of Benfica and three players from Europa League winners Atletico Madrid were among the unfamiliar faces in the squad.
“Obviously it will be a little painful for some, but we preferred this system of discards,” Del Bosque told a news conference at Spain’s training ground outside Madrid.
“We aren’t only thinking of the Euro 2012, but of the future and this call up is like a reward. In September we start qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil and we will need alternatives.
“Obviously we are worried there could be an emotional hangover for some players,” he added, alluding to the lack of preparation time after the finals for some stalwarts of the team.
“We aren’t doing a pre-season, rather extra-time on the season we have just finished. Our obligation is to adapt to the circumstances.”
With talismanic centre-back Carles Puyol ruled out with a knee injury and striker David Villa still not back in action after breaking his leg last December, the newcomers in defence and up front have the best options to secure a finals place.
Del Bosque gave little away on Villa’s recovery, who could return to play for Barca in the Cup final.
“He is a special case. We will decide on the 27th,” he said. “He is recovering and he could make Poland and Ukraine. We value his efforts and his desire to be here.”

The initiative was adopted to increase awareness of the issue among the consumers and enable access to nutrition and thus, a better life to malnourished children in West Bengal.

“Nutrition does not only depend upon food but also is influenced by the environment” is the premise based on which ‘Ahar Abhiyan’ will be implemented in a phased manner beginning with a pilot project, in partnership with the Child In Need Institute (CINI) in this state.
Vidya Balan is the brand ambassador of this mass awareness programme and has pledged her support towards the cause.
“It feels great to partner with an initiative that reaches out to the needy and aims to bring a positive change to the lives of these children. I have pledged my support to this initiative and urge all consumers to join in the noble cause,” Vidya said.
Talking about the project Jayant Singh, the Marketing Director of GSKCH, said: “As a part of this project, Horlicks aims to partner with its consumers to raise funds for the integrated child development programme developed by CINI.”
“During the campaign period, with the sale of every large pack of Horlicks in West Bengal the company will contribute one rupee towards the initiative” added Singh.
For the time being the project will be implemented in Mazdoorpara slum and Chamrapatti slum in Kolkata. This project will be integrated with an ongoing scheme in the Dhupguri Block of Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal.
Commenting on the issue, Rajib Haldar, Additional Director of CINI said: “We are very proud to be associated with a brand like Horlicks which has always been synonymous with nutrition.”
Apart from Vidya Balan celebrities like Shantanu Moitra and Pradeep Sarkar are also associated with the project.

Sunny came into the limelight last year when she featured in reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ and soon bagged the title role in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’. She would also be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Ragini MMS 2’.
But when a daily recently asked her if she would quit porn industry now that her career is rolling in Bollywood, she said, “In all probability, I will be involved with the adult industry in some capacity or the other, even if I’m not in front of the camera. I work in a few porn films, though for some reason, people feel that I am actively involved. I hardly do one (adult) film a year. In fact I consider myself a very conservative girl in the (porn) industry.”
However, Sunny has no plans of acting in an adult film in the near future.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. But I don’t see a particular reason to get away from the (porn) industry immediately. If not for the adult film industry, I wouldn’t have been here’’.
I hope people appreciate me in ‘Jism 2’ and ‘Ragini MMS 2’, and keep me busy with Bollywood,” said Sunny.

On 13th May 2012 we observed the 60th of the that Parliament that is functioning less in working and more on adjournments. Now the main duty of the Speaker is not to conduct the House but to adjourn it for some time and then to for the whole day.

It does not affect the daily allowance and pay of the members, they get it full whether the House functioned or not.
Now the Speaker do not ask the members to speak but to sit down and keep quite. Now it is near impossible to speak with the shouting in these House nothing can be heard.
Now MPs do not speak from their seats. Few members assemble before the dies of the Speaker and they all will shout there till the House is not adjourned.
In the anniversary sitting the President Mrs.Pratibha Patil, Leader of the House Mr.Pranab Mukherjee the veteran BJP Member Mr.LK Advani all said that House is meant for discussion and solution of national issues and problems.
This constitutional forum is the will and wisdom of the people. But unruly behaviour of certain MPs has turned it into disrepute.
The Prime Minister Mr.Manmohan Singh urged the MPs to do some introspection because their conduct was creating a sense of frustration and disillusionment among the people.

The Naxals have thrown another challenge not only to Chhattisgarh state but to the Government... more »

The Naxals have thrown another challenge not only to Chhattisgarh state but to the Government of India and the entire India. In Chhattisgarh after kidnapping a collector after gunning down his two armed bodyguards they have again killed 7 jawans of the Central Industrial Security Force in Kirandul in Dantewara district while they were going to duty at the iron ore plant of the National Mineral Development Corporation.

Their Bolero jeep was pumped with 120 bullets. It was this very Dantewara district that some time back Naxals killed 75 CRPF jawan in blast that shook the nation. Naxals are making repeatedly attack after attack but the Union Home Minister Mr.Chidambaram all the time repeating that he was open to talk with Naxals.
The Chhattisgarh Home Minister Mr.Nanki Ram Kunwar has asked in utter desperation that how long we would move with ‘talk offer’ and olive branch. The situation warrants full scale armed operation in the entire area notoriously known as ‘Red Corridor’.
Such frequent attacks by Naxals lower the public morale and faith in the capabilities of State and Central Government to govern and protect the life and property of the people. The glaring example that reputed big industrial house of the country of Ruia to pay protection money of Rs.16 lakhs per month to Naxals to operate and carry on their iron ore mining operation by company named ‘Essar’ there. One such payment seized by the police that revealed this sort of payment by all the industries, contractor, businessmen and all the people living there.
The Naxals are effective government and constitutional government do not exist there. The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr.Raman Singh has asked for full operations against Naxals but all such administrative police action are carried on for few days without any elimination of Naxals finally.
The Sri Lankan President Mr.Mahenda Rajpakshe in a one final military below smashed the 25-year LTTE menace finally and now that country is living in peace and tranquility. We have a Lankan example before us and is worth following to smash Naxals.
The Madhya Pradesh is also not safe from this Naxals danger. Although Bhopal is considered not a Naxals affected but here in this very capital city they operated their arms factory for years together without any knowledge to police.
It was only when a Naxal caught in Chennai gave hints about it the police raided and arrested Naxals operations it.
The other day a truck laden with 40 tonnes of Ammonium Nitrate explosive waylaid in Umaria district. Only 150 bags have been recovered so far and it is suspected that the rest of the explosive have reached in the hands of Naxals.
It also suspected that Naxals may be operating Bhopal type arms factories in Vindhya region.

The cabinet at its meeting chaired by the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today while amending the sanction given by school education department for 26 thousand 26 posts of Adhyapak cadre for middle schools decided to fill 13 thousand 13 posts by promotion from assistant teachers and remaining identical number of contract school teacher grade-2 through appointments.

Compassionate Appointment
The cabinet decided to do away with the condition of upto two children in cases of compassionate appointment family members of deceased government servants. Now number of children of the deceased government servant would not be an impediment in the compassionate appointment. However, the decision would be applicable from the date of issuance of order in this regard and it would not cover old cases.
Farmers’ Welfare Board
The cabinet decided to constituted a Fishermen Welfare Board for welfare and development of traditional and ancestral fishermen. It may be mentioned here that the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced the constitution of this board at the Machuara Panchayat held recently by him. The board would give suggestions regarding new schemes, amendment in the existing ones and in other relevant matters having a bearing of fish farmers’ welfare. The 23 posts of officers and employees required for the office of the board would be filled up by deputation from the department. The term of the board will be of three years.
E-Governance Managers
Taking yet another concrete measure toward promoting good governance the cabinet sanctioned 420 posts in Information Technology sector. These include 50 posts of e-governance manager under e-governance society, 320 posts of assistant e-governance manager at development block level and 50 posts of data entry operator at district level. This would help in more efficient implementation of e-governance projects in the state.
Majara-Tolas
The cabinet decided to electrify the Majara/Tolas and habitations having over 100 population of 2,332 electrified villages in Betul, Morena and Harda districts. This will provide electric connection to 96 thousand 320 BPL families.
Relief for Crop Loss
The cabinet decided to amend the provisions of R.B.C. 6-4 to change the arrangement for providing relief to the farmers for damage to their crops by wild animals. At present, the DFO provides the relief to such farmers in such cases. This would cause inordinate delay in provision of relief to the affected farmers. Following the decision now revenue officers would sanction the relief as per the norms fixed for relief in natural calamities. The relief would be provided from the budget of forest department. The forest department would authorize the revenue officers for sanction, drawing and distributing the relief.
Silo Bags
The cabinet decided for storage of wheat in silo bags on an experimental basis. The work would be carried out by Madhya Pradesh Warehousing Corporation on pilot basis. For this work land would be made available free of cost to the corporation and after the bags are emptied the land would again be vested in government.
Other Decisions
As per the policy of industrial promotion and increasing power generation the private sector industrial groups have started setting up captive power plants and power generation centres. As per the provisions of Vidyut Ahiniyam-2003 fee has to be paid for applying to get licence for transmission and distribution.
The cabinet decided to fix a fee of Rs. 5 lakh for applying to the Electricity Regulatory Commission for this. The state owned power companies would be exempt from it.
The cabinet decided to permanently withdraw 10 percent pension of Shri A.L. Parameshwari(retired) conservator of forest, Morena. He was found guilty of negligence of duty during the posting in a case of illegal poaching of neelgai.

The court while granting bail imposed conditions on Raja that he will not visit Tamil Nadu without its prior permission and will not go to the office of the Department of Telecom (DoT). The court, in its 14-page bail order, also said that Raja would not try to influence any witnesses while on bail. Raja was arrested on February 2, last year.
“In the end considering the progress of the trial, period of the custody of the accused and the fact that all other accused have been released on bail, I am of the opinion that further detention of the accused would not serve any purpose and for these reasons, I am inclined to admit the applicant/ accused (Raja) to bail,” the special judge said. On the apprehension of the CBI that if granted bail Raja may influence witnesses and tamper with evidence, the court said it addressed them by imposing conditions and restrictions on the accused. The court noted that entire evidence in the case was documentary and was in its custody.
“Moreover, this apprehension of the prosecution (that Raja may influence the witnesses and tamper with the evidence) can be addressed by imposing conditions and restrictions on the accused.
“Furthermore, almost entire evidence in the case is documentary in nature and the same is in the custody of the court,” the judge said.
The court also directed Raja to surrender his passport as a prerequisite for bail. Special CBI Judge OP Saini had on May 11 reserved his order on Raja’s bail plea for today after hearing arguments from the CBI and counsel for the DMK MP.
Raja had sought bail, after over 15 months of his arrest, on the ground of parity with 13 other co-accused who have already secured it from the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and the trial court.
In his bail plea, Raja had contended that case against him is “false and fabricated” and “not sustainable in law.”
The CBI had vehemently opposed Raja’s bail, saying he cannot be released on the ground of parity as the charges levelled against him are of ‘serious nature’.
During the probe, it has come to light that Raja and others received bribe of over Rs 200 crore in connection with the spectrum scam, it said.
The CBI prosecutor had raised questions on Raja’s alleged links with Mauritius-based Delphi Investment Ltd, in which Reliance Telecom Ltd had allegedly transferred its shares and said if released on bail at this stage, he might tamper with the evidence.
“It is suspected that there may be involvement of public servants, including accused A Raja and his family members etc, in the affairs of the said companies (Delphi),” the prosecutor had said.
Raja had sought bail saying the Supreme Court, while granting bail to former Telecom Secretary Sidharth Behura, had not distinguished the case of public servant with others.
Raja’s counsel had also said that he and Behura are facing similar charges of abatement, conspiracy and criminal breach of trust.

Among the others booked include Yeddyurappa’s sons BY Vijayendra and BY Raghavendra, and son-in-law RN?Sohan Kumar.
A special nine-member team of the CBI will probe the charges against Yeddyurappa and others.
The development comes three days after the Supreme Court ordered a CBI probe against the BJP leader for “serious illegalities” in mining activities in which he allegedly “misused his public office” for monetary benefits by extending favours to mining barons and corporates.
The apex court noted there was “an unfortunate state of affairs” prevailing for a “considerable time” during which the forest and minerals were illegally exploited involving politicians and corporate entities which require probe by a competent and independent agency uninfluenced by the stature of the persons.
“The CBI shall undertake investigation in a most fair, proper and unbiased manner uninfluenced by the stature of the persons and the political or corporate clout, involved in the present case. It will be open to the CBI to examine and inspect the records of any connected matter pending before any investigating agency or any court,” a special Forest bench headed by Chief Justice SH Kapadia said while passing the order.
The bench, also comprising justices Aftab Alam and Swatanter Kumar, stayed all pending proceedings before all judicial forums in connection with the case.
“The CBI shall complete its investigation and submit a report to the court of competent jurisdiction with a copy of the report to be placed on the file of this court within three months,” the bench said posting the matter for perusal of CBI report on August 3.
The report of the court-appointed Central Empowered Committee (CEC) had pointed out “undue favour” in respect of a land purchased by close relatives of Yeddyuruppa for 40 lakh in 2006 and subsequently sold to South West Mining Ltd, an alleged “front company of JSW Steels Ltd” in the year 2010 for Rs 20 crores.
The CEC report said Yeddyurappa’s family members had received Rs 6 crore in kickbacks from a mining firm.
Vijayendra had said that the amount was not a kickback but a loan taken through cheques.
The allegation is that Praveen Chandra, a mine operator, had given Rs 2.5 crore to a firm run by Sohan Kumar and Rs 3.5 crore to another firm owned by Vijayendra and his brother Raghavendra as a favour for facilitating license.

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) Chairman J. Hari Narayan today said a ‘Single proudct’ base in insurance sector to meet rural pouplations’s needs and aspirations was the needed.

Addressing at a National conference on Financial Inclusion: Integrating Insurance into Total Package organised by ASSOCHAM here, Mr Narayan said the future growth of the insurance industry lies in bringing out products based on the rural population’s needs and aspirations. ‘We have already a proposal to Insurance companies on Single product, he said, adding unless products make sense to the people in rural areas, the penetration of insurance portfolios will not grow.
The IRDA chairman said the concept of a combination of life and non-life features had become important as the rural population and those in low income strata would benefit from a single product that could take care of all their exigencies.
It was also needed to establish ‘ lead Insurance’ on the lines of lead bank, he said and added the claiming rate in insruance was very low due to lack of either awarness among the people or poor communication from the insurance companies. It is also necessary to minimise the documentation, but due to various reasons including legal aspects, inumerable pages of documentation were being maintained by the companies, he said. He said for instaance ‘funeral insurance’ product delivered by one insurance company in Afirca and S.Africa, was become popularised their and the people are waiting in queues to take the policy.

The rupee on Tuesday breached the psychologically crucial 54-level against the US currency but recouped losses to end higher at 53.79 on “huge” dollar selling after RBI intervened in the forex market to prop up the local unit.

The rupee, which had been falling steadily for the past many days due to fundamental weakness in the economy like higher Current Account Deficit, breached the key 54-level soon after trade resumed on Tuesday at 54.05.
It immediately touched its second lowest intra-day at 54.15 but the sentiment improved on suspected RBI intervention as public sector banks were seen selling dollars.
The rupee finally settled at 53.79, showing a gain of 17 paise from its overnight close.
It had recorded historical intra-trade low of 54.32 on December 15, 2011.
Indian Overseas Bank GM (Treasury) T S Srinivasan said, “ Rupee appreciated today due to intervention of the central bank in the market. It seems, there was huge selling of dollars in the market after the rupee opened beyond Rs 54 level.”
But market observers said rupee’s gains is temporary as it remains fundamentally weak and is likely to trade 55-58 range over the next 12 months.
“Even if the RBI decides to intervene decisively to bridge the current account deficit gap, the fact that the size of the BoP balance is a far more powerful driver of INR movement than RBI intervention, we expect the INR to depreciate further and head towards 55-58 INR/USD over the next 12 months,” said Ritika Mankar Mukherjee, Economist – Institutional Equities, Ambit Capital.
IDBI Bank Treasury Head N S Venkatesh said the central bank would not defend any particular level though Rs 54-level would remain as a psychological level for market participants.
Forex dealers said exporters were also selling dollars amid some weakness in the US currency overseas.
There was also strong signs capital inflows that helped rupee to sustain its gains during the day.
Meanwhile, the benchmark Sensex ended higher by 112.41 points or 0.69 per cent, breaking the five-day losing streak. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) picked up shares worth USD 172.27 million in three days since 10th May.

India on Tuesday has decided to cut crude oil import from Iran by over 11 percent this fiscal to 15.5 million tons, India currently imports crude oil from over 30 countries.

India, which imports 80 percent of its crude oil and relies on Tehran for 12 percent of those imports, shipped 18.50 million tons of oil from Iran in 2011-12, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas R P N Singh said in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.
The government had earlier said that it was not possible for India to take any decision to reduce the imports from Iran drastically as that country was important in meeting India’s growing energy needs.
The US has already granted waivers to the sanctions for Japan and 10 European countries but has left out China and India, Iran’s biggest clients.
India has not publicly said it was aiming to cut back oil imports from Iran but has unofficially asked its top imports to prune shipments from Tehran.
“Total crude oil imported from Iran by Indian companies during the period 2010-11 and 2011-12 is 18.50 million tons and 17.44 million tons respectively.
The target fixed for import of crude oil from Iran for the year 2012-13 is approximately 15.5 million tons,” Singh said.
He said the quantum of crude oil imported by Indian refineries from various sources is decided by them on the basis of technical, commercial and other considerations.
“In order to reduce its dependence on any particular region of the world, India has been consciously trying to diversify its sources of crude oil imports to strengthen the country’s energy security,” he said.

With the victory, Daredevils became the first team to qualify for the play-off stage of the IPL 5.
Jayawardene hit eight boundaries in his 49 balls innings as he added unbeaten 45 runs with the Irfan Pathan (19 not out) to take the hosts over the target with an over to spare.
Pathan hit three boundaries in his rapid 10-ball knock.
Piyush Chawla dismissed Naman Ojha (34) in the fourteenth over to break the 58-run fifth wicket partnership between Ojha and Mahela Jayawardene and reduced Delhi to 95/5 in 13.6 overs.
Ojha hit two sixes and three boundaries in his quick 29-ball innings.
Chasing 137-run target, Delhi lost four top-order batsmen inside six overs to start the run chase nervously.
Pacer Parvinder Awana struck twice in the sixth over to dismiss Ross Taylor (0) and Venugopal Rao (7). Awana’s effort rocked Delhi run chase as he reduced Daredevils to 37/4 in 5.4 overs.
Awana also struck with the very first ball to dismiss Delhi skipper Virender Sehwag (8) in the fourth over as the hosts were reduced to 28/2 in 3.1 overs.
Praveen Kumar gave Punjab early breakthrough in the third over when he dismissed David Warner (14).
Earlier, Umesh Yadav (3-21) and Varun Aaron (2-19) helped Delhi restrict Punjab to 136/8.
Electing to bat, Punjab lost wickets at regular intervals and managed to set a modest 137-run target for the strong Delhi batting line-up.
Skipper David Hussey remained unbeaten on 40 off 35 balls, which included a six and five boundaries, for Punjab but failed to stitch meaningful partnerships in the innings.
Praveen Kumar (8) got run out in the penultimate over as the visitors were reduced to 126/8 in 18.1 overs.
Pacer Umesh Yadav dismissed Piyush Chawla (10) in the eighteenth over to break the blossoming 29-run partnership between Hussey and Chawla.
Spinner Pawan Negi dismissed young Gurkeerat Singh (8) in the thirteenth over as Punjab lost wickets at regular intervals.
Azhar Mahmood became second victim of Yadav in the twelfth over as Punjab lost half-the-side for just 80 runs.
After a terrible mix-up with skipper David Hussey, Punjab batsman David Miller (4) got run out in the tenth over to add more agony to their team. Miller’s wicket reduced Kings XI to 63/4 in 9.4 overs.
Yadav got rid of Nitin Saini (15) in the eighth over soon after teammate Varun Aaron stuck twice in two overs to reduce Punjab to 54/3 in 7.2 overs. Saini hit two fours in his run-a-ball innings.
Aaron dismissed in-form Punjab batsman Mandeep Singh (21) in the sixth over to dent the Punjab run charge.
Mandeep smashed five boundaries in his quick-fire 12-ball knock before Aaron got better of him.
Punjab lost Shaun Marsh (13) early in the fourth over when pacer Aaron struck with his very first ball and reduced Punjab to 24/1 in 3.1 overs. Marsh hit three boundaries in his 15-ball slow innings.
Earlier, Punjab skipper David Hussey won the toss and decided to bat against Delhi.
“It (toss) does not matter, we would have chosen to bowl anyway. Ross Taylor and Pawan Negi in, Roelf van der Merwe and Yogesh Nagar are out for us,” said Delhi skipper Virender Sehwag after losing the toss.
Punjab have made two changes in the side as they included David Miller and Harmeet Singh in place of Ryan Harris and Siddharth Chitnis.

Mumbai Indians meet Kolkata tomorrow’s night match
Mumbai, May 15: Second placed Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders will take on each other once again at Wankhede stadium in the IPL 5 match tomorrow night in what looks on card a highly absorbing tie.
In their previous encounter at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Mumbai Indians defeated Knight Riders by 27 runs and would like to continue their winning form after last night’s win over Royal Challengers,Bangalore.
Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, are on a two match losing streak as they lost two matches on the trot at their home ground, first to Mumbai and in last evening’s last ball thriller against Chennai Super kngs.
For Mumbai, Rohit Sharma and Herschelle Gibbs, who played their first game this season against Knight Riders set up Mumbai Indians victory with a 167-run stand that helped end Kolkata Knight Riders’unbeaten run of seven games. Rohit’s century was his maiden IPL ton,and Gibbs settled in quickly despite having watched the bulk of the season from the dugout.
Knight Riders’ bowling line-up slipped up against Mumbai last time around. Batsmen were given a generous dose of short-pitched deliveries together with width that gave them several opportunities to open up. Both Rohit and Gibbs displayed a ruthlessness that ensured Knight Riders were made to pay. In their last night encounter, KKR bowled well against Chennai and Captain Gambhir will be hoping that his bowlers would perform better than last night on a pitch that provides assistance to bowlers. Mumbai Bowlers inconsistency will be hurting captain Harbhajan Singh but would expect a better performance at home tomorrow.
With semifinal slot still up for grabs, both the teams will try to out do each other. A high octane clash is on cards both on and off the field with lot of celebrity guests expected to cheer for team of their choice.

The Maoist’s Special Gorilla Squad (SGS) has warned of beheading ‘police informers’ in Balaghat district. In a recently held meeting at the Daverveli area, SGS commander Dilip Guha cautioned the villagers to stay away from the police and other armed forces besides keeping mum on Maoist movements in the area.

“The informer’s head and legs will be chopped off, once he is pronounced guilty at a Jan Adalat. Their will be only one warning”, the villagers were told. Reportedly the Maoists have also started taking stock of the funds the village sarpanch’s are receiving under the MGNREGA scheme. Guha, resident of Mate village under Roopjhar was active member of Paraswada Dalam which became non-functional in 1997. Sources claim that Guha has also revived the Paraswada Dalam recruiting new members. An increased movement is also being reported from Gondia in Maharasthra and its adjoining regions in Balaghat.
Earlier on Wednesday, Maoists killed a village sarpanch in Gondia, the naxal infested area in Maharasthra, located 45 km from Balaghat. Maoist stormed the house of village sarpanch Ghanshyam Koretti (35) and dragged him out of his home. The rebels then thrashed him with lathis and took him away.
It was during a search operation that the body of the sarpanch was found on Thursday morning near Sambhu Tola village. The naxalites left a pamphlet near the body which blamed Koretti for being a police informer.
