Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Sant Siddh Bhauji has told that the eye sight is an important human necessity. In the lack of proper vision, all-round development of a person is obstructed.
Therefore Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib ji always inspired the eye surgeons to render quality eye treatment. Sant Siddh bhauji was speaking here in a programme on the occasion of World Sight Day. He further told that the volunteers who are indulged in the service of eye patients, their soul always remain lightened.
He said that when purpose is pure then success is sure. Sant Siddh Bhauji remembered the preaching of Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib ji and told that sant ji has always tried for the betterment of women. By the initiatives of sant ji, most of the educational institutions were opened for the women.
Dr. Sangeeta Abrol Dy. Director General (Ophtho) GOI was the chief guest in the programme. She said that the volunteers and social activist of SSEH are full of service spirit; therefore she believes that the blindness eradication programme will be successful in the central India region. Dr. Abrol applauded the services of Dr. Prerna Upadhyaya. She further said that in the present times eye surgeon like Dr. Prerna are rare.
Dr. Madan Deshpande director H.V. Desai Eye Hospital Pune said that here are a big number of volunteers. Their service spirit is commendable. He has no doubt about achieving the blindness eradication target by the sewa sadan eye hospital.
Shri Santosh Moses Vice president of Vision 2020 threw the light on the objectives, targets of Vision 2020. Sant Siddh bhauji felicitated the guests by presenting Shawl and Srifal. He also distributed prizes and certificates to the students who has successfully participated and won the prizes in various Sight Care Competitions.Siddh bhau ji and the guest released one each brochure of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital and International NGO Orbis.
