Many leaders obtained Cong membership due to BJP’s policies: Shobha
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Former BJP MLA Sunil Mishra on Sunday joined the Congress in ahead of the state Assembly elections. State Congress media in-charge Shobha Ojha informed that Mishra was welcomed to the Congress by state president Kamal Nath.
Notably, Sunil Mishra had remained MLA from Congress from 1985 till 1990. Later, he joined BJP. BJP’s Khiladi Singh Armo, Janpad Chairperson of Sewda (Datia), Kiran and Bankey Bihari Sharma from BSP also joined Congress.
Kamal Nath welcomed all the new entrants into the party. He said Congress is the only party which takes care of all and respects all.
All the new entrants into Congress assured Kamal Nath that they will work hard to strengthen the party. They also assured to execute whatever responsibility the party bestows upon them.
While the poll bugle has been sounded in five States and mode code of conduct has been promulgated, the process of bringing more and more prominent leaders to the party fold has been started by leader of both prominent parties- BJP and Congress.
The development comes a day after Rahul Gandhi-led party’s Chhattisgargh working president and MLA Ramdayal Uike joined the saffron party in presence of Amit Shah.
