Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Narottam Mishra laid foundation of 33/11 k.v. sub-station, costing Rs. 2 crore 7 lakh under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana at village Bahruka of district Datia today. Dr. Mishra instructed the officers that the electricity availability must be ensured in each village and house. No house should be deprived of electricity.
Minister Dr. Mishra said that the target has been set by the union government under the Soubhagya Yojana to supply electricity in each house. The state government will bear the expenditure, whatever it is, for providing the electricity connections to the people dwelling in any remote area of the state.
He further mentioned that the scheme has been implemented with an objective to facilitate farmers with abundant water for irrigation, children’s education, new employment opportunities, information, health, education entertainment, TV, radio etc. by providing electricity facility.
Informing about the drought relief, Dr. Mishra stated that an amount of Rs. 35 lakh 17 thousand 815 to 719 farmers of village Bahruka and Rs. 37 lakh 88 thousand 541 to 789 farmers of village Badera is being distributed. The farmers, who have not given the information about the bank accounts to the patwari till now, must give detail to the patwari or tahsildar immediately.
Lays Foundation Stone for Road Construction
Minister Dr. Mishra laid foundation of approach road costing Rs. 14 lakh at village Gora of Datia district. Jagdish Singh Rawat, Prashant Dhengula, Pushpendra Rawat and local villagers were present on the occasion.
