Congress is termite, Narendra Modi is serpent and scorpion, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is night watchman and dumb fellow are the slangs that are being tiraded on each other. Strangely the Chief Minister Mr Narendra Modi has started this sort silly uttering in an attempt to project himself as prime Ministerial candidates if BJP wins in 2013-14 general election to Lok Sabha .
There is a general feeling that Mr Rahul Gandhi and Mr Narendra Modi are in the race for the top political posts. The elections are the main theme of political activities in a parliamentary democracy. In such a situation political parties and there leaders are expected to behave in a very sober ways to discuss and project an national issues, problems their polcies and programmes. Politicians are not supposed to behave like street vayabond. There should be decency and décor in public life of prime political importance. In elections personal attacks, taunting and sarcasm should be avoided.
Personalities and personality cults are very suicidial for the parties themselves. The mighty Soviet Union and its ideology of communism collapsed simply because of personality cult of Marshal Joseph Stalin. After his death his personality cult was denounced at the 20th Congress of the Soviet Communist Party. The process snowballed into the liquidation of Soviet Union and its ideology of communism to such a extend that statue of Lenin and Stalin demolished, their graves were removed from the quare and names of Leningrad and Stalin grad cities changed to their original homes. Ofcourse of parties not possible for the present leaders to have that aura but political behaviours remain the same on rober note.
Parties may project any one as Prime Minister but it is the election results and political for mention that decided it. BJP repeated Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee but the party and Mr Manmohan Singh became the Prime Minister to given political situation.
