On 13th May 2012 we observed the 60th of the that Parliament that is functioning less in working and more on adjournments. Now the main duty of the Speaker is not to conduct the House but to adjourn it for some time and then to for the whole day.

It does not affect the daily allowance and pay of the members, they get it full whether the House functioned or not.
Now the Speaker do not ask the members to speak but to sit down and keep quite. Now it is near impossible to speak with the shouting in these House nothing can be heard.
Now MPs do not speak from their seats. Few members assemble before the dies of the Speaker and they all will shout there till the House is not adjourned.
In the anniversary sitting the President Mrs.Pratibha Patil, Leader of the House Mr.Pranab Mukherjee the veteran BJP Member Mr.LK Advani all said that House is meant for discussion and solution of national issues and problems.
This constitutional forum is the will and wisdom of the people. But unruly behaviour of certain MPs has turned it into disrepute.
The Prime Minister Mr.Manmohan Singh urged the MPs to do some introspection because their conduct was creating a sense of frustration and disillusionment among the people.

The Naxals have thrown another challenge not only to Chhattisgarh state but to the Government... more »

The Naxals have thrown another challenge not only to Chhattisgarh state but to the Government of India and the entire India. In Chhattisgarh after kidnapping a collector after gunning down his two armed bodyguards they have again killed 7 jawans of the Central Industrial Security Force in Kirandul in Dantewara district while they were going to duty at the iron ore plant of the National Mineral Development Corporation.

Their Bolero jeep was pumped with 120 bullets. It was this very Dantewara district that some time back Naxals killed 75 CRPF jawan in blast that shook the nation. Naxals are making repeatedly attack after attack but the Union Home Minister Mr.Chidambaram all the time repeating that he was open to talk with Naxals.
The Chhattisgarh Home Minister Mr.Nanki Ram Kunwar has asked in utter desperation that how long we would move with ‘talk offer’ and olive branch. The situation warrants full scale armed operation in the entire area notoriously known as ‘Red Corridor’.
Such frequent attacks by Naxals lower the public morale and faith in the capabilities of State and Central Government to govern and protect the life and property of the people. The glaring example that reputed big industrial house of the country of Ruia to pay protection money of Rs.16 lakhs per month to Naxals to operate and carry on their iron ore mining operation by company named ‘Essar’ there. One such payment seized by the police that revealed this sort of payment by all the industries, contractor, businessmen and all the people living there.
The Naxals are effective government and constitutional government do not exist there. The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr.Raman Singh has asked for full operations against Naxals but all such administrative police action are carried on for few days without any elimination of Naxals finally.
The Sri Lankan President Mr.Mahenda Rajpakshe in a one final military below smashed the 25-year LTTE menace finally and now that country is living in peace and tranquility. We have a Lankan example before us and is worth following to smash Naxals.
The Madhya Pradesh is also not safe from this Naxals danger. Although Bhopal is considered not a Naxals affected but here in this very capital city they operated their arms factory for years together without any knowledge to police.
It was only when a Naxal caught in Chennai gave hints about it the police raided and arrested Naxals operations it.
The other day a truck laden with 40 tonnes of Ammonium Nitrate explosive waylaid in Umaria district. Only 150 bags have been recovered so far and it is suspected that the rest of the explosive have reached in the hands of Naxals.
It also suspected that Naxals may be operating Bhopal type arms factories in Vindhya region.

The BJP Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan in all set to provide irrigation facilities to all the farms in the state to make the agriculture a profitable business. All the electric feeders of rural supply are being separated to ensure assured supply of power for farm sectors from 2013 onwards. He has sanctioned Rs.226 crores for canals of Bargi Dam. He said that farmers of the area will get canal water from next rabi season.
For a long time, the Madhya Pradesh was 4th state in wheat production in the country after Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. But now the state and 3rd place pushing down UP to 4th place. It is expected that this year after the final assessment of wheat production, the state is all set to become 2nd state above Haryana.

The Bhartiya Janata Party is facing near revolt in its Karnataka unit and inner party challenge to Mr.Narendra Modi’s leadership in Gujarat. Mr.Yeddyurappa is bent upon to become Chief Minister again at the earliest or he may quite the party to form a regional party like that of Jaya in Tamil Nadu, Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra, Naveen Patnaik in Odisha and Mulayam Singh in Uttar Pradesh. Mr.Yeddyurappa has a strong base of his Linyayat Community in the state and support of many lobby led by Reddy Brothers.

The Karnataka High Court has already absolved Mr.Yeddyurappa from the involvement in the Lokayukta Report. Subsequently the Supreme Court asked the CBI to probe into mining deals of Yeddyurappa. The Party wants to wait on his issue till full clearance from all sides but Mr.Yaddyurappa is in no mood to wait any longer. The Vidhan Sabha of 225 members Yeddyurappa is claiming support of 9 ministers and 45 legislators. While in the meeting called by the Chief Minister Mr.Sadananda Gowda only 20 MLAs attended it.
In Gujarat the Chief Minister Mr.Narendra Modi is so far facing the onslaught of Congress for his alleged involvement in post Godhra Riots. But now within the party the former Chief Minister Mr.Keshu bhai Patel has opened the font against him. He make a several allegation that whole of Gujarat was living in fear in Modi regime. Mr.Keshu Bhai Patel was maintaining a low profile for the last four years, but now a taken up issue against the Chief Minister Mr.Modi.

There is total chaos in wheat purchasing, transporting, storing and every thing connected with it. There are bumper crop, bumper purchasing and bumper mismanagement also.

There is bumper shortage of gunny bags also. Before the commencement of wheat procurement the State Government has claimed that learning lessons from the past mistakes it has evolved a fool-proof arrangement this year. The farmers are registered and their land produce has been assessed.
It also claimed that proper godown facilities were created and private parties are also hired. So was the claim about the efficient transportation of wheat stocks from the purchasing centres.
But it all collapsed and every thing has gone topsy-turby. The farmers wit banner land and no produce sold old and rather stocks of grain traders at the purchasing centres.
The fake transporter swindled away with the wheat stocks from the centres. Many such trucks are seized by the police and they offered huge bribe to get through.
Although the Government has deputed and drafted senior officers to get right the things. Let us hope the arrangement will improve soon.

The Parliament completed its 60 years on 13th May 2012. Its first sitting was held on 13th May 1952. Mr.GV Mavlankar was first Speaker and Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru was first Prime Minister. The Congress Party was in power with absolute majority.

At present there is 15th Parliament with a Coalition Government headed by Congress Ms.Meira Kumar is speaker and the Prime Minister is Mr.Manmohan Singh, who is Member of Rajya Sabha.
There are only 2 members of the first Lok Sabha who are alive today. Mr.Resham Lal Jangde, he was Congress Member of Parliament from Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh). He was twice Member of Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. Another is Mr.Rishan Kishing, he was Socialist Party Member of Parliament from Manipur State of North East India. President Mrs.Pratibha Patil felicitated them on the occasion.
The Parliament faced three worst testing times – In 1962 China attacked India, in 1975 Emergency was imposed in the country and in 2001 terrorist attack on Parliament. In 1952 there was 31 women members in the House and in 2012 in the 60th year strangely their number has also reached the number 60. There are efforts to give more reservation to women, there is a Women Reservation Bill before the Parliament.
Addressing the Special Sitting the Speaker Ms.Meira Kumar said that Parliament is the will and wisdom of the people of India. The democracy is based on the principle of equality liable the caste system is founded on inequality. In the clash of the two thoughts one system has to go out.
Speaking on behalf of Congress Mr.Pranab Mukherjee Leader of the House, said that 24th Amendment to the Constitution in 1968 is a mile stone in the history of Parliament. Amending the Article 36. It has been established that the Parliament has right to amend the Constitution in any form it and when desired to do so on behalf of Bhartiya Janata Party Mr.LK Advani said that most of foreigners were apprehensive that in India democracy would not succeed as most of the Indians were illiterates. But in 60 years we proved that while many democracies in the world collapsed the democracy in Indian flourished.
Mrs. Sonia Gandhi said that India is a democracy with largest electorates. So far out 15 Lok Sabha the 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th, 11th, 12th and 13th were dissolved before completion full five hears terms and mid-term elections were held.

The Health of the Madhya Pradesh Health Department is most unhealthy. It is suffering from a deep infection of corruption. Earlier few years back the Director of Health Department Dr.Yogiraj Sharma was removed on corruption charges.
Now another Director of Health Dr.AN Mittal is caught by the Lokayukta with hidden ill-gotten money and wealth.
This time a new very serious element is added n the case when the wife of Dr.Mittal openly said that a mn9ister was extracting rupees one crore from her husband Dr.Mittal every month. It can be a case of bribe of sharing the money.
The allegation cannot be dismissed as an outburst. But it should be looked deeper into the charge.
In the purchase of medical equipments and medicine there appears to be too much corruption. Showing the purchase of branded medicines of reputed pharmaceutical companies cheap and substandard medicines are damped into the hospital.
Many costly equipments and machineries are purchased and it is lying packed in the hospital. TO oblige some companies such equipment are being purchased.
In the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh entire fund provided by the Central Government for National Rural Health Mission was swindled at the high political and bureaucratic levels. Now the Government has decided to audit the entire funding under NRHM since the beginning to update.
Similarly the government of Madhya Pradesh should also order special financial audit as well as social audit of all the health schemes. The patients in hospitals are supplied with substandard medicines.

The UP Assembly elections results (Feb 2012) gave a clear mandate to the Samajvadi Party... more »

The UP Assembly elections results (Feb 2012) gave a clear mandate to the Samajvadi Party of Mulayam Singh. Congress was claiming that the results of UP will be a shocker, meaning a surprisingly better performance of Congress. As results came through Congress was nowhere close the claims it made or the results it expected were nowhere close to the expectation.

Prior to the elections the main leaders of UP Congress with Rahul Gandhi in the lead, campaigned vigorously. The carrot of reservations for Muslims was dangled and the Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s tears on Batla house encounter were on display, but it seems the Muslim voters in particular were not impressed. So far Congress had a very safe equation with the Muslim voters, also called ‘Muslim vote bank’ by its critics. The understanding was that since Muslims know that communal BJP is not the option where will they go except voting for the ‘secular’ Congress.
Where do matters stand? It is true that large section of Muslims realize the BJP can never be the option for Muslims as BJP is the epitome of Communal politics, it is the political child of RSS, which is working for the agenda of Hindu Rashtra through its multiple progeny like VHP, Bajrang Dal, Vanvasis Kalyan Ashram and myriad other organizations. In communal violence while the Congress has played despicable role in anti Sikh riots of 1984, it has also been the mute witness to the series of anti Muslim riots and pogrom against Muslims. The justice to the victims of violence has not been actively pursued by the Congress, wherever it has been the ruling formation, Mumbai violence of 1992-93 being the worst example of ignoring and marginalizing the victims of carnage.
The Muslims have also suffered at the hands of Congress ruled Governments in the aftermath of acts of terror, particularly those of Mecca Masjid, Malegaon, Ajmer and Samjhauta express blasts. In the aftermath of the blasts Muslim youth were arrested, tortured, their carriers as young men crushed and later they released for the lack of any credible evidence whatsoever.
Still despite all these lapses Muslim community has realized that Congress is a lesser evil, more particularly after the Gujarat anti Muslim pogrom under the leadership of Narendra Modi, where the transformation of a democratic set up to a semi fascist Hindu rashtra is more than visible.
They have also seen that the real culprits of bomb blasts mentioned above belonged to the RSS pantheon, for which BJP made all the efforts to shield them.
This distinction between Congress and BJP seems to be more or less clear and when one reflects on the acts of commission and omission of NDA Government at the centre between 1998 and 2004.Having kept aside the BJP as an electoral option what happens to Congress claim to be a secular party or the one committed to interests of minorities. There is a mixed bag here. On one side Congress has instituted Sachar Committee and Rangnath Misra Commission, which have given the true picture of the plight of Muslims.
At the same time the implementation of the recommendations of these reports is too slow, if at all. The intimidated Muslim minority is looking for policies which can lift it up from the stifling atmosphere of ghettoes in which they have been forced to live due to the massive communal violence and the preceding and accompanying demonization of the community in the social space. A large section of community wants quotas, but putting it as an electoral promise cannot fool the community, which is seeing the dismal fate of Sachar Committee and Rangnath Misra Commission.
The Batla House encounter, the refusal of the UPA II Government to institute a proper inquiry into it and the accompanying demonization of Muslim youth was a big blow to the community which is struggling against odds to come out of ghettoization and wishes to embrace modern education and take advantage of opportunities to the best of its capabilities, which at present are not adequate to pull it out of the morass in which it is trapped.
This Batla House encounter and the negative attitude of the Congress for a proper inquiry committee showed that Congress does not have courage to take up the issue of security of Muslims in the right earnest. Mere tears don’t protect you. The event in the neighboring Rajasthan, where the police entered the mosque and opened the fire to kill those inside was also something which cannot be pardoned at all.
Congress seems be a mixed platform and a pragmatic party as far as the principles of secularism are concerned. It will go this far and refuse to take the decisive steps for principled democratic-secular values. One knows that the state apparatus has also been heavily communalized and it takes a strong will power to take up principled secular stand and to live up to that. In UP it seems the Muslim voters had the choice between Mulayam Singh and Congress. Mulayam had also temporarily allied with Kalyan Singh, who had presided over the demolition of Babri mosque, but that was a brief alliance.
Is this the same Congress, which had the glorious tradition of Mahatma Gandhi and Pundit Nehru, who staked their all for preservation of secular values? With the present dithering attitude of the Congress leadership such claims are nowhere close to acceptable. Many a Congress youth are also much communalized. One does not know whether this grand old party, is making its workers know about what secularism is, what is the truth behind the prevalent biases against minorities; how Gandhi (Mohandas) had ensured the Hindu-Muslim unity by staking his life and how Jawaharlal stood like a rock supporting the edifice of plural values.
A party is made by the workers and
their mindset. While leadership dithers on such issues the workers, by and
large have no clue as to how to take up the issues of Muslim minorities,
battered by the onslaught of communal violence and communal politics. UP
Assembly election results apart from other things are a pointer for the
party to take up the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, if it
wants to make a positive contribution to Indian democracy.

A report presented by AK Antony’s committee that was constituted by the party high command to find out the reasons behind the party’s fall in UP, Bihar and Goa Vidhan Sabha polls is causing fear in some senior and outspoken party leaders.

The report reveals distribution of tickets to relatives and unrestrained statements by senior leaders to be the main reason behind the downfall of the party in the areas. In his report, Antony stated that Capt.
Amrendar Singh is a selfish person and the party’s decision to project him as a CM of the state was the biggest mistake and the reason behind party’s defeat in Punjab.
He also blamed dearness and curroption for the defeat but neglected to define the remedies that the party could undertake to deal with the situation. If the party high command considers to accept the report then it can bring a huge change in the party and it’s work culture.
In the same ways it can also set aside senior leaders like Digvijay Singh, Beni Prasad Verma, Prakash Jaiswal and Salman Khursheed, who created a havoc in the UP Vidhan Sabha polls through their statements. Although, implementing all the recommendations made by Antony to improve the party’s health is impossible, yet setting them aside completely will crush the party’s future poll possibility.
However, forming of committee by the party high command comprising Antony reveals the fact that Rahul Gandhi is quite unhappy by the poll results and will take some action against the people responsible for the same.
Rahul took over UP polls campaigning with great expactations. He not only went on most tours as compared to other campaigners but also took highest number of meetings on various issues being faced by the party.
In this situation, if the results would have been satisfactory in the the UP polls, then it would have been an easier flight for the Congress for mission 2014, but now, all the hard work on the Congress’ part turns out to be for nothing.
Now Rahul is prepared to do whatever it takes to check the reincarnation of the event.
In order to be safe from Rahul’s wrath, senior leaders like Salman Khursheed decided to step down as ministers and start campaigning for the party, but the ball is in Rahul and his staratigists’ court, after all.
There are no two way thoughts that Rahul want to replace the old and stubborn leaders with young energetic and clean chit leaders. He also wants to make party campaign more aggresive and public oriented and he will keep a close watch on the party’s lineup for the purpose.
It is highly possible, that the Youth General Secretary will concentrate more on upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections in MP, CG, Karnataka and Rajasthan region rather than the Lok Sabha polls in order to shange the party image.
For this, the party can instruct some old leaders to operate till the barrack to motivate the youth leaders.
It is obvious that these mineral land Vidhan Sabha polls will be an acid test for the party before mission 2014 and Rahul would like some good news out of them.
Therefore, MP, CG, Karnataka and Rajasthan could be the first states to witness the new, improved and more aggressive youth brigade.

Madhya Pradesh’s food producing farmers are once again in the lime light. Continuous ware and tare in the crops, climatic calamities and unjust rates for the produce has forced the farmers to either mobilize or transfer their lands to keep up with the time.

Recently the matter caught heat when a farmer caught a bullet during police firing in Baraili, Raisen district and lost his life. The farmers were voicing their demands under the banner of Indian Farmer Union, when a conflict rose between farmers and the cops.
The face-off caused a lot of casualties to both the sides but the death of Ex Sarpanch and farmer, Hari Singh Prajapati turned the matter into chaos. A farmer dying by police firing while a demonstration, is a sad aspect for administration and society. One more farmer committed suicide just the day before the unfortunate event.
The point here to be considered is, the problems being faced by the farmers for the last two-three years is becoming troublesome for the general public as well. The continuously rising numbers in the farmer suicides has stated that there is this twingle somewhere in the system that needs to be fixed rising above from geometrical and political boundaries.
Both central and state government are required to put in coordinated efforts to solve the problem. To make farming a profitable business is government’s moto in MP and a commission has already been assigned for it.
Apart from this farmers are also entitled to receive loans on one percent interest. After all these facilities if a farmer avails for bumper crops of wheat and is not getting proper warehousing and safety, then this marks a huge question on the arrangements, whether done by center or state.
Though MP Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan warned to agitate with the motive of problems faced by the farmers in Delhi before the environmental havoc. Last day, Sushma Swaraj also appealed in the Lok Sabha to send gunny bags to the farmers.
But the farmers of the state need to have a little patience and belief with the state’s administration and the state government also needs to play a more vital role in the matter.

Women’s eyes may actually be different from men’s as a new study has revealed that healthy emmetropic women have a bigger pupil diameter than men.

From an anatomical point of view, a normal, non-pathological eye is known as an emmetropic eye, and has been studied very little until now in comparison with myopic and hypermetropic eyes.
Normal, non-pathological emmetropic eyes are the most common type amongst the population (43.2 percent), with a percentage that swings between 60.6 percent in children from three to eight years and 29 percent in those older than 66.
Therefore, a study determines their anatomical pattern so that they serve as a model for comparison with eyes that have refractive defects (myopia, hypermetropia and stigmatism) pathological eyes (such as those that have cataracts).
“We know very little about emmetropic eyes even though they should be used for comparisons with myopic and hypermetropic eyes,” said Juan Alberto Sanchis-Gimeno, researcher at the University of Valencia and lead author of the study explains to SINC.
The project shows the values by gender for the central corneal thickness, minimum total corneal thickness, white to white distance and pupil diameter in a sample of 379 emmetropic subjects.
“It is the first study that analyses these anatomical indexes in a large sample of healthy emmetropic subjects,” Sanchis-Gimeno stated.
In recent years new technologies have been developed, such as corneal elevation topography, which allows us to increase our understanding of in vivo ocular anatomy.
Although the research states that there are no big differences between most of the parameters analysed, healthy emmetropic women have a wider pupil diameter than men.
“It will be necessary to investigate as to whether there are differences in the anatomical indexes studied between emmetropic, myopic and hypermetropic eyes, and between populations of different ethnic origin” the researcher concluded.
The pupil is a dilatable and contractile opening that regulates the amount of light that reaches the retina. Its diameter is between 3 and 4.5 millimetres in the human eye, although in the dark it could reach up to between 5 and 9 millimetres.
The study has been published in the journal Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy.

Adding a few hours sleep to your night may prevent you from gaining weight.
A new study has found that sleeping more than nine hours a night appears to suppress genetic factors that lead to weight gain.
In contrast, getting too little sleep seems to have the opposite effect.

Previous research has shown an association between poor sleep and obesity, but the new findings reveal a complex interaction between sleep and genetic factors linked to body weight.
Scientists made the discovery after studying 1088 pairs of identical and non-identical twins.
Twin studies help researchers unravel genetic and environmental influences. Only identical twins share the same genes, and are therefore subject to the same genetic effects, so differences between them are likely to be due to environmental factors.
The study found heritability of body mass index (BMI) – a measurement relating weight and height – was twice as high for short than for long sleepers.
For twins sleeping less than seven hours a night, genetic factors accounted for 70 per cent of differences in BMI.
In twins averaging more than nine hours’ sleep, only 32 per cent of weight variations could be attributed to genes.
‘’The results suggest that shorter sleep provides a more permissive environment for the expression of obesity related genes,” WAtoday quoted Nathaniel Watson, from the University of Washington, who led the US study, as saying.
‘’Or it may be that extended sleep is protective by suppressing expression of obesity genes,” he stated.
The scientists suggested hectic modern western lifestyles might contribute to obesity.
‘’Modern society with its ubiquitous technology often can cause misalignment between sleep need and sleep actualisation. This frequently has adverse consequences for cognitive (mental) function and metabolic, cardiovascular, and immunologic health,” they wrote.
‘’Indeed, over the past century habitual sleep duration has dropped 1.5 hours per night and since 2001 the percentage of US adults getting at least eight hours of sleep per night on weeknights has fallen from 38 per cent to 27 per cent.
‘’Evidence is mounting that chronically reduced sleep times are associated with obesity,” they added. Sleep may influence weight by affecting hormones, glucose metabolism and inflammation, they said.
Some studies have associated long sleep duration with heart disease, insulin resistence (a precursor to diabetes) and early death.
‘’We did not observe this in our sample, but our sample is much younger than those used in studies that established these adverse associations,’’ the researchers noted.
The findings were published on Monday in the journal, Sleep.

Sometime back a farmer committed suicide in Sehore district because of agricultural debts. But the District Administration said that he was insane person. Now a farmer in Raisen committed suicide said to be disgusted by the inordinate delay in his wheat procurement at a purchasing centre. The District Administration said that it might be case of food poisoning. The medical investigations are going on.
But one thing is certain that wheat procurement is going on a very bad shape. A lot of difficulties are there hampering the procurement work.

The shortage of gunny bags is very severe. Further more due to unseasonal rains the purchased stocks are badly affected.
Before the procurement, Government claimed that taking lesson from past experience. This year all the arrangements were made well in advance. But then too the system is not working. Stocks are piled up at centres.
The Mandi Board and Mandi Directorate are functioning since long. There is a lot of income from Mandi Tax. It could have built proper centre, storage facilities. The aim of mandi is to cater all the needs of farmers. Massive corruption in Mandi funds are alleged. None of Mandi is working on proper lines.
The procurement of food grains must be handled by the Mandis. Its Directorate and Board must ensure it in near future.

The concept of the defence is that whether it is war on peace time the armed forces should always be in readiness into action at the shortest notice. Even after the 2nd World War which lasted from 1939 to 1945 for 6 years the preparedness of defence forces of the America and Europe against the Soviet Union continued as “Cold War” for 46 years till the disintegration of the Soviet Union into many nation in 1991. It is estimated that expenditure on cold war was much more than that of 2nd World War.

Although we faced Pakistani aggression just with Independence in 1948 and subsequent wars with it successfully but we failed miserable in 1962 against China. We were caught unaware and unprepared. Our forces were manning the border parts in a routine way.
It takes time to achieve defence needs. It was during the regime of Prime Minister Mrs.Indira Gandhi that the country became a force to reckon with, it was at this time that country undertook a programme to develop missiles for our defence system.
It has now some upto making Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile. But all the time of such spectacular achievement on the contrary, the Chief of Army staff General VK Singh wrote to the Prime Minister about the severe shortage of ammunitions, tanks and armoured vehicles with the Army.
He pointed out that in case of attack our forces may not be able to coup with.
It is an irony of situation when we developed ICBM on sky we lacked ammunition on ground. Although the defence minister Mr. AK Antony denied such shortages but at the same time he discussed the issues with high Army Ranks and ordered immediate procurement of military hardwares. It was also very serious lapse that such a confidential letter of the Army Chief to the Prime Minister leaked out and the whole world become aware of defence slackness.
In the matter of defence such casual and lethargic attitude is very harmful and suicidal for the nation under such circumstances we may to face the humiliation of 1962 again.
Mrs.Gandhi kept the armed forces in top form that during the Bangladesh war. The China and most anti-India US Administration of President Nixon and her Secretary of State Henry Kissinger it threatened to intervene in war on the side of Pakistan but could not dare to challenge to Indian Armed Forces in action there. The US even declared to move its Naval 7th Fleet in to Bangladesh waters but could not do so.
Our forces must be all the time in readiness to meet any eventuality. We are still at loggerheads with Pakistan and China and should not be complacent in defence matter.

With the enforcement of new Electricity Act all the domestic and industrial consumers have t pay enhance Electricity duty from 9 to 15 per cent more. It is bound to lead in curtailing the purchasing power of common man and increasing the cost of production in the industrial sector. The power is a most vital and basic requirement of industrial. The rate increase on all its possibilities will bring slackness in production and over all decline in GDP.

The enhanced rates will be applicable on the power purchased by the State Government from the other states. The Act makes it compulsory to register the generators and get it renewed periodically. At these points it will be liable to pay enhanced electricity duty.
Like Railways and road transport any increase in electricity is board to push the prices of all the commodities on the entire market and business system.

Since long the country is facing the shortage of coal hampering growth of industrial sector. But its impact no utility and infrastructure sector of power generation is very severe. Due to coal shortage the power plants are not able to generate full capacity energy. The situation became so desperate for the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr.Shivraj Singh Chouhan that he undertook a long march from Capital Bhopal to Coal pit at Sarni to offer satyagraha against the Central Government.

The power shortage badly affected Satpura Power Plant. Centre asked him to import coal from outside and he managed it from Indonesia. But it proved very costly due loading and unloading at two point and transportation from Port to plant.
The steel industry is also very affected in the country because of it. The Tamil Nadu Government is mostly importing from Australia.
The Government has asked in public undertaking Coal India to make investments on foreign coal mines and try to meet the full development of requirements of the nation.
The coal India accounts for over 80 per cent of the domestic coal production. It has plans to go for acquiring coal mines abroad particularly in Australia, South Africa, Mozambique, USA and Indonesia. In last financial year 2011-12 the shortage in the coal supply was 142 million tonnes. If urgent and successful results are not achieved by the year 2016-17.
The shortage may mount to 200 million tonnes. The Central Government has also decided to bring up Coal Regulatory Bill in the current session f Parliament.
The coal crisis may hit the industrial development and production lowering the GDP further and its impact is low electricity generation will upset the whole infrastructure.

Anna and Babe with their self-appointed team consider themselves of sole caretakers of public welfare. They have also casted severe as persions against the voters of India as open to bribe and liquor in casting their votes. After prolonged struggle for freedom we have chosen the system of parliamentary democracy as our way of political system and live.

To pass filthy remarks against such constitutional organisation of national importance beyond all sense of sanity. Their fight against corruption and black money is nothing and in significant before magnitude of Jaiprakash Narayan’s cursade against the imposition of emergency. He had full faith in Indian voter and parliamentary system. He initiated a Janata Movement, flooted a Janata Party and contested the Lok Sabha poll to restore democracy. Even during the British period Pandit Motilal Nehru and his Swaraj Party enters the Central Legislative Assembly to project the freedom fight.
Baba and Anna both have admitted that they can not win the elections and termed the voters as corrupt for money and liquor. Do they think that Jaiprakash won the elections for Janata Party victory by bribing the voters with money and liquor.
Instead of fearing to face the electorates they should contest the 2014 Lok Sabha election and if elected with majority numbers of form the government.
The media should also not highlighted on abused litterness. Publicity is such obnoxious behavior is also an encouragement to such persons. If Baba and Anna think that people are with them. They should come out and face the electorate and seek public verdict on their manifesto.

The gentleman non-political personality of India the former President Mr APJ Abdul Kalam has dismissed the concept of Lokpal as no Penacea to eradicate corruption, while Anna Hazare and his self-appointed team consider the Lokpal as a final remedy of corruption in public life. Any time it take the shape of a enactment it will be one more set up among the many anti-graft laws of the centre and states. In the opinion of Mr Kalam the corruption in the society and perticularly in political greva is because of normal degradations. It has to be fought within the houses everly the youngsters. Anna Hazare’s movement at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi picked up very fast with people curiosily and support. But when the government agreed to issue notification on Lokpal drafting committee. The Anna and his team became very amogent and gave ultimatum and time limits to the government and the Parliament. The Parliament ignoring the Anna demands as lack of knowledge in parliamentary procedures reformed its standing committee drafts Lokpal for consideration. Anna’s Delhi type sit-in agitation in Mumbai badly flopped with total lack of public response. Now Anna and Baba Ramdeo have undertaken India tour on different routs on Lokpal and black money.
