Dhanwantri Yatra to increase awareness towards Ayurved from November 20

Bhopal:  Ahead of the World Ayurved Conference from December 7 to 10, Dhanwantri Yatra will be taken out from November 20 to 24.
The rally will be taken out from three directions including Gwalior, Rewa and Burhanpur towards Bhopal.

Common people in over 25 districts en route the rally will make people aware of specialities of Ayurvedic system of medicine.
For this, mobile exhibition, audio-visual and electronic mediums will be used.

The rally to be held with the cooperation of voluntary organisations connected with Vigyan Bharti, Arogya Bharti, Vishwa Ayurved Parishad and Sewa Bharti will also create awareness about Ayurved’s importance in healthy lifestyle, malnutrition, anaemia, maternal and infant health security, health of adolescent girls as well Beti Bachao Abhiyan and change of eating habits as per climate and nature.

Various programmes will be held including symposiums, discussions, speeches etc at Ayurved Colleges of Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur and Bhopal en route the rally.
After starting from Gwalior, Rewa and Burhanpur, the rallies will pass through Rewa, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Hoshangabad, Raisen, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Sehore, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Rajgarh and culminate at Bhopal. On the occasion, a grand congregation will be held at Pandit Khushilal Sharma Ayurved College and Research Institute, Bhopal which will be participated by city’s Vedacharyas, students and distinguished citizens.
