Dalda Oils launches new Sesame variant in TN, to strengthen presence in South

Dalda Oils, one of India’s iconic brands associated with taste and purity, on Tuesday launched its new Sesame variant in Tamil Nadu.

The new variant was launched following its latest brand campaign -– Naye Zamane ka Naya Dalda — to bring the changing scenarios in the Indian Kitchens to the forefront. It was unveiled in the Temple town of Madurai by film and television actress Deveyani.

Dalda was one of the very few brands in the country that caters to a variety of consumer segments ranging from urban markets to homemakers in rural India.

The new Sesame cooking oil variant will be part of Dalda’s varied cooking oil range available in the Indian market. Dalda’s Sesame cooking oil is the first sesame oil in the market with added vitamins A and D benefits.

‘’With naturally present Vitamin E, an antioxidant, zero cholesterol and balanced fatty acid profile, Sesame oil is ideal for cooking and consumption’’, a company release said.

Commeting on the new cooking oil variant, Bunge India Marketing Head Milind Acharya said “we are proud to diversify the Dalda cooking oil range with this new variant.’’ ‘’With this new variant, we are hoping to attract consumers from the Southern market and strengthen our positioning”, he said.

It would be available across various markets in Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Tiruchirapalli and Madurai. The product comes with a new informative packaging and will also be available in food grade plastic pouches in varying quantities.
