Cyber police arrest one more for fraudulently obtaining duplicate Sim

The cyber police have arrested one more person in the case involving hacking of the bank account of Prompt Engineers Company owner Anand Jain and withdrawal of Rs 42 lakh from the account.

The accused had taken the help of a youth who was similar in appearance to the plaintiff Anand Jain and thus obtained a duplicate Sim from BSNL company. The person similar in appearance to Jain visited the BSNL office claiming he was Anand Jain and that he had lost the Sim.

In this way he managed to get a duplicate Sim from BSNL. The cyber police have so far arrested 10 people in the case of hacking of Jain’s account. The cops were searching three accused persons in connection with the issuance of duplicate Sim.

Cyber police have already arrested Anil Pandey and Johnny Brown. Third absconding accused Rajendra Satnami has been nabbed by cyber police. Rajendra Satnami told police during investigation that other accused Anil Pandey was an expert in making fake IDs.

He used the fake IDs to obtain finance. Rajendra Satnami was involved with Anil Pandey in similar fraud activities. Anil was given the responsibility to get Anand Jain’s duplicate Sim from BSNL office. Anil asked Rajendra Satnami to search someone who could be presented as Anand Jain at the BSNL office.

He was promised a big amount for this work. Rajendra Satnami selected accused Johnny Brown of Jabalpur for this work as he matched Anand Jain’s profile.Rajendra Satnami came to Bhopal along with Johnny Brown and presented him at BSNL office as Anand Jain and obtained his Sim.
