Staff Reporter, Bhopal Culture Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma inaugurated an exhibition of preservation of monuments at State Museum here today. At the exhibition, photographs of monuments before and after renovation have been displayed.
The exhibition will continue till March 6 from 12 noon to 7 pm. Photographs of Shyam Dosa Ki Kothi constructed during Bundel era, Jahangir Mahal, Noneji Ki Haveli, Supari Sahib Ka Mahal in Orchha, Garhkundar fort of Tikamgarh, Vyas Bhadora’s temple in Chhatarpur, Sulatania Infantry Gate, Sheesh Mahal, Golghar, Benazir Mahal and Taj Mahal at Bhopal, Moti Mahal of Asirgarh, Rasleela Ghar and Gujri Mahal in Barai, Gwalior, church of Narwar, Vijaypur fort in Sheopur, Burj fort of Dhar, Ginnaugarh fort of Sehore, Rai Bhagat Ki Kothi in Mandla, Vijayraghogarh fort in Katni, Tukojirao’s Chhatri at Indore and several other monuments have been displayed at the exhibition. All these monuments have been preserved by Directorate of Archeology. After this, exhibition of remaining monuments’ preservation works will also be held. Commissioner Archeology and Museums Shri Pankaj Rag was also present on the occasion.
