Congress Bounce Back to Power

After Uttarakhand now in Arunachal Pradesh also the Congress Government bounced back into power making Modi Government jittery again and again. In both states the Congress Government were toppled obviously by encouraging defections in the ruling Congress Government of Chief Minister Mr.Harish Rawat and Mr.Nabam Tuki.

The Central Government imposed President Rule in Uttarakhand on the ground of it losing the majority in the Vidhan Sabha. But the Supreme Court ordered test of majority on the floor of the Vidhan Sabha Mr.Rawat proved it to returned to power putting the Modi Government in very uncomfortable and shameful position. In Arunachal the hit back by the Supreme Court is extremely severe and a constitutional censor of the Governor Mr.Rajkhoba and the Modi Government for the first time in the constitutional domain.

The Supreme Court removed the fostered Government of Mr.Kalikho Pul and restored the Government to the Congress ministry of Chief Minister Mr.Nabam Tuki. As in Uttarakhand few Congress MLA revolted against Chief Minister Tuki in Arunachal also. There was revolt against Mr.Tuki and defection.

The Congress has a reputation in crisis management managed the situation in Uttarakhand so nicely by proving the majority, now has the same situation in Arunachal also. Here due to disrupting and defections in the Congress Party has 26 members with it in House of 60 member Vidhan Sabha. It require five more to become bare majority. Earlier it has 47 and 21 revolted and defected.

The Congress is doing it best to manage this crisis also by bring back the rebel MLAs back in the party to prove majority. In both these states the Governors bungled constitutionally on the political motivated dictates of BJP Government of Mr.Modi. In Andhra Governor Mr.Ram Rao prevented Mr.NT Rama Rao from coming into the power and fostered a minority faction leader Bhasker Rao as Chief Minister.

The Prime Minister Mrs.Indira Gandhi immediately removed the Governor by forcing him to resign and posted Dr.Shankar Dayal Sharma as Governor to restore power to Mr.NTR within one month with compliance of constitutional requirements.

Mr.Modi should follow the graceful conduct of Mrs.Indira Gandhi is dealing with such situation and the Governor of Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh should be removed by seeking their resignation or advicing the President to withdraw his pleasure from them.
