Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided to celebrate his birthday with utmost simplicity this year.
The decision came as an expression of sympathy with the farmers affected by the untimely hailstorm that struck the state last month damaging crops and causing a loss of crores of rupees. As a result, no special programme is being held at the CM House this year.
Chief Minister will meet the visitors and accept their greetings from 9:30 a.m. after which, he will visit an old-age home and orphanage located at Hamidia Road in the noon. Later on, he will visit Sunder Devi Aashram in Vidisha which he himself established a few years back in his mother’s name and celebrate his birthday with the under privileged children there. By evening, he will reach his home town Nasarullaganj and spend some time with his supporters there.
