Says Rahul is talking about farmers but doesn’t know whether onion grows above or under ground
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Congress national president Rahul Gandhi is talking about the interests of farmers today. The Congress and its leaders pretend to be well-wishers of farmers, but they do not even know whether the onion grows below the ground or above.
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this in the meetings held in Tarana and Nagda assembly constituencies during the Janashirvad Yatra on Monday. Attacking the Congress, the Chief Minister said that when there was a Congress government in the state, why did not the development work?
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s Jan Bhat Yatra arrived in the villages of Tarana assembly of Ujjain district on Monday. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan reached Makurdo on Monday and started the journey.
There was a lot of enthusiasm among the villagers to greet the Chief Minister from helipad to the meeting place. Somewhere the drum-dragon was welcomed by the flower, then the chief minister was welcomed. During this time senior BJP leaders including Mr. Satyanarayana Jatia, Mr. Babulal Jain, MP Dr. Chintamani Malviya, MLA Mr. Anil Feroziya, in-charge in-charge Mr. Jagdish Agrawal, District President Mr. Shyam Bansal and other party leaders including Ashok Kataria were present.
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the masses in Makondan said that as soon as the election comes, some people have started to forget hunger and poverty. Congress always deceived the poor and did not care about the poor.
From the time of Indira ji and Rajiv Gandhi, the Congress has only removed the poor by giving slogan of poverty reduction. While remaining in power for 50 years in the state, Congress only kept slogans for farmers and the poor. But did not do any concrete work for the farmers and neither for the poor.
But now no poor will starve in the state and no one will sleep hungry. The Chief Minister said that we have done the work of providing basic amenities to the poor. In the next 4 years, every poor family will be given a permanent house. He said that our government has worried for every class.
The Chief Minister lambasted the Congress saying that I want to ask Rahul today that when there was a Congress government in Madhya Pradesh, why did the people not get facilities like roads, water and electricity, why these facilities were not available.
While attacking Congress President Rahul Gandhi, the Chief Minister said that Rahul Gandhi, who spoke about development, would answer, why his government had made the state a Bimaru during his tenure.
On this occasion, senior leaders and MPs Dr. Satyanarayan Jatiya, Mr. Babulal Jain, Mr. Anil Feroria, Mr. Bahadur Singh Chauhan, Mr. Shyam Bansal and other District office bearers were present along.
Congress leaders curse me
While addressing the public meeting in Makurda, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh said that I have always been the eyesore of the leaders of the Congress. The Raja Maharaj leaders of Congress curse me, he said. Those royal leaders think that how can this son of an ordinary farmer become the chief minister? Chouhan said that he said that Congress is anti-development. The Congress has no connection with development.
The Chief Minister asked the people present in the meeting whether there has been any development of Makduan during Congress governments, and the people said ‘No’. The Chief Minister said that BJP is a synonym for development. You have done everything I told you, as many people have told me. That is why Makdan village is no longer underdeveloped today, but it has become a developed place.
BJP achieved in 15 years what Cong couldn’t in 50 years
Attacking the Congress in the meeting organized in Mahidpur, the Chief Minister said that his stress is on poverty eradication. He said the government has given loans to the farmers without interest, supported daughters of the poor. He said he has told people not consider daughters to be burdens.
The Chief Minister said that Congress ruled for 50 years in the state. But 15 years of the Bharatiya Janata Party government are full of important achievements compared to 50 years of Congress rule. The Chief Minister told the people present in the meeting that the comparison of the work of the two governments is done by the people themselves and with their own discretion, the decision is taken.
