CM Chouhan inspects call centre

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed functioning of helpline here today. He inspected call centre at MP Nagar and apprised himself of problem redressal arrangements. The Chief Minister stressed the need to increase number of lines of call centre.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government is undertaking public welfare works. It is necessary to know ground realities of schemes’ implementation. Ministers and officers have been directed to undertake field tours in this connection. He said that Mukhyamantri Helpline has been started from January 11. So far, 12 thousand 500 phone calls have been registered. Of these, 4,200 are complaints while remaining are suggestions and information etc. Action is being taken on all calls earnestly. Generally, complaints will be redressed in 7 days and complainant will be informed. He said that action is also being taken on suggestions and information. They will be used in quick redressal of complaints and further improving public services.
Chief Minister conducts call centre functioning

The Chief Minister inspected call centre functioning and complaint redressal system by conducting the process himself. He received phone call from Shri Ajay Singh Chandel of village Unniyon under Ghatiya development block of Ujjain district. He enquired about complainant’s problem. Surprised at Chief Minister’s voice over the phone, Shri Ajay Singh Chandel informed that gas company in his area is issuing receipt of Rs. 50 without any reason.
Later, Shri Chouhan made the staff call 3 applicants whose complaints have already been redressed. When phone of Indore’s Govardhan Dahima was found engaged, another Indorean Shri Ghanshyam Lalwani was contacted over phone and asked whether out of order streetlight in his area has started functioning.
Shri Lalwani, who was also surprised finding the Chief Minister over phone, informed that light was started soon after complaint but has gone out of order again. The Chief Minister talked over phone to Shri Kamta Prasad Dwivedi, who had complained about out of order handpum.
