Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will undertake Padyatra in the rural areas of the state from February 1 with a view to having firsthand information of ground realities of the schemes’ implementation. He will start his Padyatra from Nasrullahgaj tahsil of Sehore district.
Shri Chouhan will start his Padyatra from village Magriya. From there, he will undertake journey covering villages Gorakhpur, Semarpani etc and directly interact with villagers. The Chief Minister will undertake spot inspection of the ongoing development works in the aforesaid villages. He will himself witness the ground realities of field implementation of all the schemes including those pertaining to water, power and roads.
Interacting with villagers, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will enquire about their problems and difficulties. He will also review the efforts being made by the administration for redressing their problems. It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan had also undertaken Padyatra of villages when he was a member of Parliament. Shri Chouhan is also known in villages as Paon-Paon Wale Bhaiya (brother who undertakes onfoot journeys).
