Chouhan to take oath as MP Chief Minister on Dec 14

shivraj Singh chouhanBhopal,  Madhya Pradesh’s caretaker Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan the architect of BharatiyaJanata Party’s (BJP) victory in the state will besworn in as the heartland state’s Chief Minister for the third successive term
at a function in Jamboree Ground on December 14.

Sources said theswearing-in ceremony will take place at around 1100 hrs.

Senior BJP leader LK Advani, the party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, BJPpresident Rajnath Singh, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha. Sushma Swaraj and the party’s Madhya Pradesh incharge and General Secretary Ananth Kumar will be present on the occasion. According to sources, more than five lakh people are expected to take part in the ceremony.

Earlier, the newlyelectedBJP legislators would elect Mr Chouhan as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. He would then formally stake claim before Governor Ram Naresh Yadav for forming a new government.

Mr Chouhan today reached the Raj Bhavan and submitted his resignation
to Mr Yadav, who asked him to continue as caretaker chief minister until the new government is formed.
