Meets Farmers and observes crops

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached hailstorm affected villages of Nasrullaganj Tahsil –District Sehore and inspected the crop damage. While consoling the farmers, he said that the government is with them in this hour of crisis.
CM Chouhan reached Piplani, Kishanganj, Baibodi, Itawa Khurd, Chichli, Borkhera and Jat Muhai and took stock of the loss. Addressing the farmers in Piplani and Jat Muhai, he mentioned that we will face this situation together. He further stated that survey of all the affected villages will be conducted.
Survey team will consist of patwari, agriculture staff and panchs of the villages, the assessment report will be displayed at the notice board of the panchayat to ensure transparency.
Chouhan further stated that the benefit of crop insurance amount, relief amount of Rs. 30 thousand per hectare, postponement of loan recovery, interest reimbursement by the government, loan on zero interest rate for fertliser and seeds besides benefit of Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, on solemnizing girl’s marriage from home itself will be provided to the affected farmers. He assured the farmers that loss of all the the affected farmers will be compensated by the government.
Chairman Forest Development Corporation Guruprasad Sharma, Chairman Warehousing Corporation Rajendra Singh Rajput, MLA-Khategaon Ashish Sharma, Public Representatives, Collector and Superintendent of Police were present on the occasion.
