The Mukhya Mantri Swa-Rozgar Yojana brought a ray of hope in the life of Chandraprakash Kori of Hoshangabad district. Initially, he was working under other person, today he is an owner of a workshop due to his hard work and loan under the swa-rozgar yojana.
Earlier, Chandraprakash Kori was working in Bhopal Motors Company of Bhopal on a monthly salary of just Rs. 11 thousand. One day he saw a ray of hope, when he read about the Mukhya Mantri Swa-Rozgar Yojana of District Antyavyasayi Department in the News Paper.
Chandraprakash Kori, a post graduate of arts was never shy of hard work; he applied to the District Antyavyasayi department for the loan. His application was accepted by the bank and the loan of Rs. 10 lakh with a subsidy of Rs. 2 lakh was provided to him.
Chandrapraksh opened a workshop in the name of “Kabir Engineering” at Sohagpur by utilizing the loan and started servicing and repairing of the JCB machines. He has 13 years experience for repairing JCB machines.
Machines from Harda and Gadarwada besides Hoshangabad district come to his workshop for repair. Today, he earns a monthly income of Rs. 40 to 50 thousand comfortably. He has also given an employment to 8 persons in his workshop.
Chandraprakash has earned a respect in the society due to his hard work and the workshop. About 30 to 40 JCB machines come for repair to his workshop from June to December.
During the remaining months, he goes in the field to repair JCB machines. When a big decision, to take such a big loan was taken by him, his family suggested him not to take the huge loan, but he had faith in his hard work, which transformed him into a successful entrepreneur.
