Budget is ‘sanjeevani, arunodaya’ for people: PM

modiNew Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today  described the debut Budget of his government as ‘’Sanjeevani’’  (new life) for a moribund economy and arunoday (sunrise)  for the last man in the line.  ‘’…for the moribund economy, this budget has come as  a Sanjeevani (new life) and an Arunoday (sunrise) for the  last man in the line,’’ the Prime Minister said, congratulating Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for presenting his maiden Budget. He said the Budget was a new ray of hope for the poor  and downtrodden and converted people’s hopes and aspirations  into trust.   The Budget would give an impetus to jan bhagidari  (people’s participation) and jan shakti (people’s power).
