Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, A meeting of BSNL western region telecom circle on value added service was held here on Friday. Representatives of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh took part in the meeting. At the outset a two-minute silence was observed to pay homage to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The meeting was limited to lunch break.
In his address MP Telecom Circle Chief General Manager Sandip Savarkar said the demand of value added services like PRBT, mobile TV and entertainment is increasing along with data and voice services. Therefore BSNL is making special efforts to provide latest and useful value added services to customers at competitive rates.
General Manager (value added services) from BSNL Delhi headquarters Sanjay Kumar gave detailed information about the value added services being provided by the BSNL and their importance and usefulness.
The telecom circles under the westyern region were informed about the revenue being generated through these services.
Sanjay Kumar also explained how the consumers should be informed about the value added services and how their demand could be increased.
Joint General Manager (value added services) Kartikey Sinha obtained information about the problems of their respective circles and reviewed the suggestions received from them. General Manager (sales and marketing) Arun Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.
