Bridge connecting Jhabua to Ratlam collapses

On Tuesday, a six-year-old bridge which joind Ratlam to Jhabua collapsed. The bridge had broken into many pieces, causing long traffic jams on both sides.

According to reports the bridge was located at one kilometer from Ramnagar village. The bridge collapsed in the morning. A crack was developed on the bridge, but the authorities did not stopped any vehicular movement. The bridge was constructed in 2011.

Meanwhile, the administration has swung into action after the incident. Many senior officials reached the spot. The administration is trying to clear traffic jams on both the sides of the bridge. A probe has been launched to find out the reasons for the collapse. No casualties have been reported.
