Bollywood ends year 2013 with ‘Dhoom 3’

dhoom3In a ‘big bang’ end to the year 2013 for Bollywood, Yash Raj’s ‘Dhoom 3’ today opened to an excellent response at theatres across India, experts in film trade  said.

As anticipated, the much awaited Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan-starrer movie which opened to over 4,500 cinema screens across the country, got off to an excellent start, thanks to the presence of Aamir and Katrina, spectacular action sequences and a huge canvas that have been the USPs of the ‘Dhoom’  series.

The third installment of the Dhoom series ‘Dhoom 3’, which  has Abhishek and Uday Chopra reprising their roles as Jai Dixit and Ali Akbar while Aamir and Katrina play characters named Sahir and Aaliya respectively, has created lot of buzz among cinegoers due to their presence.

In fact, experts in the film trade said given the huge anticipation for the film and the record number of prints to which the film has been released, ‘Dhoom 3’ is set to be another blockbuster after films like ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Krrish 3’.
Film experts who have seen the film said the flick could well be another blockbuster in the making for Bollywood.

Film Analyst Komal Nahata said ‘Dhoom 3’ was set to be another  blockbuster for Bollywood.
