The winner of the Blind Cricket World Cup team India on Tuesday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and urged the minister to provide training and other facilities. The Indian team in the finals defeated Pakistan by two wickets to lift their second Blind Cricket World Cup title in Sharjah.
“Met the wonderful players of the Indian cricket team who won the 2018 Blind Cricket World Cup for us. They made the country proud with their achievement.
Their dedication and passion for the game of cricket is truly inspiring. I wish them success and a bright future ahead,” Rajnath tweeted.
Members of the Indian team urged the Home Minister to provide training and other facilities to the team. Rajnath assured all possible help to the players.
