Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today urged the Prime Minister to ensure justice to the entire Sikh community by directing the Delhi Government to get the process of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Mangement Committee (DSGMC) elections completed positively by December 31, the deadline fixed by the Supreme Court.
Mr Badal made this appeal while addressing the media persons here on the sidelines of the inauguration of Ch Devi Lal Memaorial Centre of Learning (CDCL) established by the Ch Devi Lal Memorial Trust over an area of thee acres to provide professional education in the field of competitive exams, skill development and entrepreneur development to enable youth to compete at global levels. He appreciated the concern of the Trust in promoting school and higher education through establishing a public school in Sirsa and Ch Devi Lal Vidya Peeth where several professional degrees cousces like MBA, BBA, Pharmacyand Dentistry were being run and now through establishing this state-of-the-art learning centre where CDCL was in collaboration with an Australian skill development company.
Dr Ajay Singh Chautala, who is director of CDCL, said the Centre would impart vocational five-month skill training in different fields like plumbers, electricians and AC mechanics besides assured employment.
The Centre would also initiate IAS/IPS coaching classes from the next year in collaboration with the best institutes in the region and also provide free hostel facilities to the students during coaching period, he added.
