New Delhi, BJP president Amit Shah will visit Gwalior in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday and participate in various programmes.Mr Shah will be given a big welcome on reaching Gwalior. He will go to Shivpuri district where he will garland the memorial of famous freedom fighter Tatya Tope.
He will also address party workers and activists of nine districts of Gwalior and Chambal divisions.The districts comprise Gwalior City, Gwalior rural, Sheopur, Shivpur, Guna, Ashoknagar, Morena, Bhind and Datiya.
In the afternoon, Mr Shah will attend a roadshow in Guna.In the evening, the BJP chief will pay floral tributes to Rani Lakshmibai and also at the Chhatri of Rajmata Scindia at Amma Maharaj Chhatri — both in Gwalior.
In the evening, Mr Shah will address a youth convention at Sanskriti Garden, Racecourse Road, according to a statement here on Monday.
On Friday, Mr Shah has formally launched the party’s mass contact campaign in the Malwa-Nimar region of poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.
Voting to elect 231-seat Assembly in Madhya Pradesh would be held on November 28 and counting would be held on December 11, the Election Commission has announced.
