New Delhi, Indian star boxer M C Mary Kom who scripted history after earning world boxing championships title for the record sixth time has helped her claim top spot in the latest rankings released by International Boxing Association (AIBA) on Thursday.
The Manipur boxer went on to win her world championship title in the 48 kg category for record sixth time here in the capital last year in November.
In the Lightfly weight category Mary is placed at top fetching her 1700 points. In 2018, diminutive boxer mother-of-three won gold at Gold Coast in the Commonwealth Games and Poland.
She also bagged a silver at the prestigious Strandja Memorial in Bulgaria.
