Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Six youngsters of Bhopal have killed that went to celebrate a birthday when a car they were travelling in lost control and tumbled into Kolar dam located in Sehore district on Monday morning.
According to police, six youths from Bhopal went out to celebrate birthday with Swift car registration number MP04 TJ-1548 to Kolar Dam on Sunday noon.
Later in the night, on a turn near Kolar dam, their car deviated from the road and collided with pole before submerging into dam near Veerpur village under Bilqeesganj police station of Sehore.
Due to being dark, people could not see the vehicle. On Sunday morning some passerby saw the car in water filter plant of the dam and then informed the police.
After getting the information on Monday morning police and ambulance rushed to the spot. Police took out the car from the deep water including 6 dead bodies of youth with hours of hard work using heavy equipped machines.
Police also informed their families about the incident According to the police deceased have been identified as Akash Gupta, Pankaj Sahu, Ranjeet Sahu, Abhijeet Rathore, Gaurav Sahu and Rajnish Patel.
It is told that all of them are around 30 years of age. Four deceased are from Anand Nagar locality, one is from Katara Hills and one from Rewa district. Police said they had gone to celebrate Akash Gupta’s birthday.
Later, police sent the all the bodies for postmortem. Police is also inquiring that whether they were driving the car drunken.
