Ranbaxy's sell out to Daiichi

If Jaskaran Singh Dhami thinks tht he can convince readers by giving frills and twirls to the language he should forget it. In a Sumo-Sardar Deal (CC - 02 Jul) Dhami has tried to establish the fact that Ranbaxy's sell out to Daiichi is a positive development for Indian companies. A blue chip company going into the hands of foreigners in no-way is a positive development. Ranbaxy has lost its identity by merging with Daiichi. If Indians are feeling bad about it their grievance is quiete justified.

Jaskaran Singh Dhami seems to have a knack of trying to prove the facts in different light which is not always right. Dhami's seems to have been misled by the statements of the owners of Ranbaxy who have tied to show this merger as a great achievemnt. They have no doubt pocketed huge aounts of money (enough for many generations to lead luxorious life) but it has dented the national pride.
