State Government committed to maintaining peace & amity: CM

Bhopal, July 5: The Chief Minister, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government is committed to maintaining peace and amity and safeguarding interests of all sections.

In a statement here today, the Chief Minister said that the officers of Indore district have been directed to take strict and impartial action to maintain law and order and to deal firmly with the elements out to disrupt peace.

The Chief Minister has appealed to the people not to lend credence to rumours and foil the designs of those seeking to vitiate the climate of peace and goodwill in the state.

The Chief Minister said that the situation in Indore is fully under control. He said that certain people want to take political advantage out of the situation. Such people can never be well-wishers of people.
