MUO demands severe action against activists

By Our Staff Reporter

Bhopal, July 4: In protest against the terror tactics unleashed by the BJP government supported Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and RSS activists, in the name of Bharat Bandh on Thursday and the arson, loot, robbery and murder committed at Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jhabua, Harda, Satna and other places of the state, the Minorities United Organisation, headed by its president Arif Masood, on Friday staged a dharna at Iqbal Maidan.

The agitators demanded from the state BJP government to register murder case under IPC 302 against the activists of these organisations, who had involved in the inhuman activities immediately.

Addressing the dharna, Masood said that during the 'Bharat Bandh' the activists forced the shopkeepers to shut down their establishments and robbed them also, besides assaulting them and the police force remained there as mute spectators. This has unravelled the real face of the ruling BJP government, he added.

Masood said that police personnel posted in the Indore's Khajrana police station were standing there as onlookers when the Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists brutally shot dead four people including a thirteen year old boy on Thursday.

He demanded severe punishment for the culprits responsible for the deaths at Indore whether they are police personnel or Sangh activists. He has also demanded the resignation of the state government and advised to take the help of army for maintaining peace in the state.

Deepchand Yadav, Asadullah Khan, Shailendra Shally, Shafiqurehman, Hanifurehman, Rajesh Chanaal, Faiz Khan, Abid Mumtaz, A Nafeez, Azmat Shah Makki, Md Aslam, Wahid Ullah, Md Anwar, Dr Shahid Khan, Abdul Aleem, Jaid Siraj, Maulana Akil Ul Haq and others were also participated in the dharna.
