Bhopal, July 3: Van vihar is not only the exotic tourism spot of capital but also the state as well. The forest department continuously creates new items to allure tourists. There are so many species of snakes are already living here. But now the department has procured other aqua-species of snakes like cobra, daihal, sunfreela etc. These species will become a special attraction for tourists, as they are of different colours and shades. Besides this the department tried to allure tourists by adding different animals to Van Vihar. Here the area of water will be proliferated. And the campus of water will be made larger so that other aqua-animals like azgar, crocodile and many other animals can be seen by the tourists.

The Van Vihar organises Snake Show every Sunday. The information about poisonous and non-poisonous snakes given in this show. The main attraction of Van Vihar is Vihar Vithika. If you do not go through Vihar Vithika during visit, then your journey in incomplete. One of the important point is that it takes you to nature. In this city and fast life, we are going away from nature. It makes us converse with nature. This Vithika is an answer to the question, which arrives in your mind while walking in Van Vihar. Van Vihar gives protection to every animal. It relaxes you as well as gives a lot of information to children.

A quiz is organised in Van Vihar near one of the animal cages every Sunday afternoon. The winner tourist immediately gets the memory symbol of National Park as prize. The main objective behind this programme is to develop sympathy and knowledge of people about forest animals.
