Gujjars V/s Govt. of Rajasthan

The agreement reached between Gujjars and the State of Rajasthan seems to be the beginning of yet another agitation, as the adage of robbing Peter to pay Paul would fit well once the Supreme Court strikes down the case when it reaches there on the ground of exceeding the Court's earlier set limit of 50% reservation for all categories. However, the standard set by the Gujjars in holding the State to ransom for nearly a month should at least open up the eyes of our politicians not to make promises that may turn illegitimate or beyond their capacity to fulfill.
