RComm, MTN deal positive: Macquarie 

New Delhi, May 29:
Shares of Reliance Communications, which is in talks with South Africa's MTN, rose more than 6 percent on Thursday after a brokerage said the deal was positive and it expected a rebound in the stock.

The Sensex opened with positive gap of 141 points at 16,666 on a positive cues from the global markets, the index pared gains in the late noon trades and slipped into a negative zone.

Videocon Group is planning to invest Rs 6000 crore ($1.4 billion) in a 1,000-megawatt hydro power project in north India, Chairman Venugopal Dhoot told reorters.

Coal India will recruit about 2,500 entry level executives in next five years to strengthen workforce in view of its plans to expand production capacity, a top company official said today.
