Students enjoy visit to energy gallery

Bhopal, May 28: On the concluding day, the students visited the energy gallery at the Regional Science Centre where creative workshop was going for the last several days. The students in fact enjoyed the workshop with fun while learning. They learned how to manufacture electric motor, and other creative articles at the workshop. Students were very much interested in the workshop and participated in the activities with enthusiasm. Often their parents visited the place to know what their wards are learning at the workshop. On the concluding day of the workshop Bhopal Today Team met some students and parents to elicit their views.

Dr. Sangita Dalmia is Professor at Nutan College. 'I always encourage my children to take interest in science. When I came to know about the workshop here, I got my children admitted here. They are enjoying as well as learning here. Today is the last day of the workshop. The students visited the energy gallery at the Science Centre.

Naheed Sultan is satisfied that her children have improved their knowledge from the workshop. Earlier, my children were not that interested in science. But after attending the workshop here, they have nothing else to talk but science. Today is the last day of the workshop. Seeing their interest, I think I should get my children admitted to the next workshop too.

What children say

Ishita Agrawal is studying in Class VIII at DPS School. She enjoyed the workshop very much. She learned a lot about science and said it was a great opportunity for her. The last day was different, she said.

Ananya Agrawal, student of Class VIII, Carmel Convent says 'On the last day today we visited the energy gallery. It was a good experience to us. How the power house is made is one of the interesting item we came to know about.

Samarth Shrivastava is studying in Class IV of Central School No. 1 said it was great chance for him to have fun and knowledge on science together. My father got me admitted here. Earlier I was not interested. Later on I felt this is a good chance I should not have lost.
