Bhopal, May 27: Whether the children are small or big, they like to play with toys. Children and toys are inseparable. If the toys are soft, children are attracted towards them more than any thing else. The soft toys are attractive and the children like to play with them.

At the summer camp in Jawahar Bal Bhavan, children are given training to make soft toys. Children's favourite cartoon character Mickey Mouse, Blue Bear, and Cute Doggy is some of the toys the teachers are giving them training to make. The children are very keen to learn the minute details of making their favourite toys. The Bhopal Today Team Reporter talked to the children to learn more about their interest in toys making.

Rekha Parihar, student of Class X said that she always liked such toys and she wanted to know how to make them. And here the teachers helped me to learn. I will make all my favourite toys and decorate my room with them, she said.

Neha Ahirwar says, very beautiful and attractive toys are available in the market. Since they are very expensive, they are out of reach of the lower middle class. 'We can make better toys at home with the same amount of money. Moreover, this is an extra curricular activity we are learning here', she said.

Namrata Tomar likes soft toys very much. They are very attractive to look at. It is interesting to make them also. Several types of toys are available in the market. But soft toys are more in demand. I learnt several things during the vacation. I wanted to learn something special. Hence I have joined this camp, she added.

Pooja Parihar said making toys is difficult and time consuming. But it is very interesting. When they are made, they are so beautiful, you will feel you did a great job.
