Bhopal, May 27: New FM radio stations have come up in the city during the last one year. This has brought new voices to the limelight. Moreover, new and different types of presentations have become popular. All the FM radios coming out their unique programmes. Competition brings out new talent and new types of presentation to the benefit of listeners.

'Good Morning Mumbai'. Film actress Vidya Balan's announcement in 'Lage Raho Munna Bai' has become very popular among lakhs of filmgoers. Overnight, the actress has become a celebrity. If the voice is good then it will become a craze among the listeners provided everything is expressed in proper way. If your voice is good, people will be crazy about it. Perhaps you yourself are crazy about someone else's voice. Often we try to ape the voice we like most.

In this era of globalisation, competition in every field is the buzzword. The globalisation has also opened several opportunities of employment. Good voice has become an asset to several youths in this era. It is said that good voice has become a medium to rule the hearts and mind sof millions provided you know where the opportunity lies. Jaya Arya, former announcer in All India Radio. 'Radio or stage, it is not easy to entertain people. For this, one should have self-confidence and the ability to talk without hesitation. Voice of each and every one is different. Some have sweet voices while others produce hard voices. Sweet voice is the gift of God, which is not given to one and all. But if you try you can change your voice to some extent', she said.

Mrs. Mehra is schoolteacher. She joined the voice culture class for the purpose of conducting classes effectively at her school. 'Often I am not able to make the students understand the way I want them to. That's why I joined the voice modulation class. In future, if chances come on my way, I would like to become an anchor', she said.

Yogesh Patel, student of pharmacy. 'There are two ways to express-talking or writing. I am most impressed with the art of talking. I thought of becoming an anchor so that I can interact with more people. Through this medium you can become a celebrity in no time. You can choose anchoring as a good career', he concluded.

Shakti Singh, student, feels that one should have very good communication skill to shine in this field. Otherwise, you would not survive. 'Your voice and presentation style should be your asset to attract people towards you. I have joined the classes to make my voice more attractive. I want to establish myself as an anchor in TV or jockey in radio in future', he added.

Ashok Kumar is fan of TV anchors Mandira Bedi and Annu Kapoor. Whenever I watch their programme, I want to become like them. Therefore, through this class I decided to improve my 'way of presentation' and I am successful to some extent', he said.

Arjun Singh wanted to enter the marketing field. 'If my presentation is good, I would be able to attract more people towards me. I joined the voice modulation class to improve and shape my voice and speaking,' he said.

Shruti Singh wishes to become a Radio Jockey so that she is recognised through her voice. 'Its presence of mind and way of presentation attracted me. I have presence of mind. What I need right now is improvement in my voice and I am working to achieve this', she added.
