Summer water scouting camp held

Bhopal, May 26: Summer Water Scouting Training Camp was organised under the joint aegis of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Madhya Pradesh in association with Madhya Pradesh Kayaking-Canoeing Association Bhopal and the concluding ceremony of the training camp was also held on Monday at Lower Lake.

On the occasion, Additional Director of Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe Development TD Patel, Additional Director Surendra Singh Bhandari, State Secretary Mahendra Agrawal, Dr Balwan Singh, Project Director, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Madhya Pradesh, Sanjay Gupta, Treasurer, Madhya Pradesh Kayaking-Canoeing and large number of eminent personalities were present.

The dignitaries took introduction from the players to shake hand. The camp coordinator Prakash Disoriya delivered inaugural speech and said scouts and guides of several schools of state capital as well as the students of tribal hostels, which is run by Tribal Welfare Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh took part in the programme.

He also presented annual report and said that the main motto of the training camp is to remove fare from the mind of children from water. Various informations about boating, swimming, to save a person, who is downing etc were provided to them. Vijay Navnare, Ms Kanchan Mahoviya, Ramhet Singh explained their experiences on this occasion. Dignitaries congratulated to them and distributed certificates.

The training camp was organised under the direction of Coach Mayank Thakur and Ganesh Shrivastava, MA Shakil, Gajraj Singh gave their best contribution. Hidaytullah Siddiqui expressed gratitude to all.

Summer camp for tribal children

Bhopal, May 26: St. Paul's School Bhopal and Rural Development Service Society (RDSS) Silwani jointly conducted summer camp for tribal boys and girls of remote areas of Silwani Tehsil. The camp was to empower the students with greater personality and better career options.

It was an occasion to equip themselves to the better citizens of tomorrow. Around 47 children are taking part in the summer camp. 33 girls and 14 boys are in the camp. Various training as personality and leadership skills, computer, classical dance, English spoken class, Yoga, meditation and Volleyball are being provided for them.

Today on May 27 at 6 pm, as they stand on the edge of this thrilling summer camp, children will be offering a cultural evening to show forth their cultural and intellectual talents.
