St. Michael, Jyotiraditya in final

Bhopal, May 25: Two semifinal matches were played in the first Makhanlal Chaturvedi 20-20 cricket tournament being played at Bab-e-Ali cricket Stadium. In the first match St. Michael by defeating Irani Club and in the second match Jyotiraditya by defeating Hamidia entered the final. In the first match St. Michael scored mammoth 191 runs in which Sameer Quraishi scored 55 runs in 33 balls with 4 sixers and 4 fours. Shan-e-Alam scored 42 runs in 38 balls.

In their reply, Irani club was all out for 114 runs only. Mobin Hasan scored 40 runs. Shan-e-Alam was given the man of match award. In the second match Jyotiraditya eleven defeated Hamidia cricket Academy by 75 runs in one sided game. Jyotiraditya team scored 180 runs in 20 overs in which Soheb Iqbal scored 64 runs. In their reply Hamidia cricket academy was all out for 104 only. In this match Usman Ali got the Man of the Match award.
