Painter whose imagination flies high

Bhopal, May 25: A painter says a lot through the medium of his paintings. He brings awareness among the society. Only a painter can express his imagination through colourful paintings. Through his paintings he can even guide the society towards a better future. Famous painter of Bhopal, Santosh Raikwar is one such person. He has several paintings to his credit. Several exhibitions of his paintings have held in this country and abroad. Raikwar was born in Sarni on 8 January 1966. He acquired his degree in drawing and paintings in the year 1993. He stays at MIG 112, J Sector, Ayodhya Nagar, Bhopal.

According to him, 'exhibitions of my paintings has held in different cities of Madhya Pradesh. Apart form this, my paintings have been exhibited in UP, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, UP, Assam, and some cities of foreign countries. Main subjects in my paintings are Indian culture and tradition, tribal tradition etc. My pictures are based on my imagination. I have also exhibited my painting of Goddess Saraswati at the Bharat Bhavan along with other paintings. I have a big collection of my paintings. Painting is my lifeline. More pictures will come out of my brush in future', he said.
