CBSE XII results: Government schools do well

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of class 12th examinations on Wednesday. This year the performance of students studying in government schools has been better. After these schools come the missionary schools. Students of Jawaharlal Nehru School, BHEL and Central Schools have secured their places in merit list. Animesh of Jawaharlal Nehru tops in the list. Along with this the other students of this school have secured third and fifth places in the merit list. Whereas the central school has secured place in top-15 from in below the merit list. A girl student of Govindram school, Bairagarh, has secured the 6th place. Students of St Xavier school have secured second, eighth and ninth place in the merit list. A student of Jawaharlal Nehru school has secured 10th place. Maharishi Vidya Mandir students have secured places in top-15 and stood fourth to sixth ranks in below list. However, it is surprising that famous schools including world famous Scindia and DPS did not fare well this time. It is not necessary that expensive schools provide good education. If the teachers are dedicated and hardworking then their students would give better results. The results of this year clear that government schools and missionary school' teachers with limited resources and facilities have done hard work and their students came out in flying colours. The teachers and students not only brought laurels for the schools but also for the State. Girls by securing 85.98 per cent marks have proved that they are not behind but ahead of the boys. The boys percentage stood at 77 per cent. The successful students deserve congratulations and those who could not clear the exams or got supplementary should not lose heart but make renewed efforts. After all failures are a success.
